Works great with PS4. Was having issues connecting it with my airpods, so plugged it into computer to connect my airpods. Then moved usb to Ps4 and worked perfect!

I have been searching for a way to connect my bluetooth earbuds or my bluetooth headset to my ps5 so that I didn't have to spend extra money on a gaming headset. This actually works and the mic works as well! I've tried other dongles and only the audio would work but the mic wouldn't work. The mic actually works. I'll be using this for my PS5 and my Playstation Portal it the future.

This USB Bluetooth Audio adapter is a quick and easy way to add Bluetooth 5.2 and aptX codecs to devices that lack support for them. That includes aptX Low Latency for gaming and video, aptX HD for music and aptX Adaptive for a codec that dynamically switches between low latency and high definition, depending on the content. It also supports dual connection, so audio can be sent to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously.Unfortunately, the adapter doesn’t appear to have any way to switch codecs, or any indication of which codec is being used. I own other adapters that changes the LED colour, depending on which codec is being used, with a quick press of the button on the device switching codecs for the connected device(s). With this one, the colour is always blue and I couldn’t find any information in the instructions about switching codecs. For this problem, I had to take off a star.Another issue with this device is that one of the photos in the product information says the USB-C-to-USB-A adapter adds support for connecting a keyboard and mouse. I don’t see anything about that in the instructions. In testing, the USB-C-to-USB-A adapter didn’t add a general Bluetooth device to a PC, and trying various combinations of button presses did nothing to connect to a Bluetooth keyboard in pairing mode. For this apparently erroneous information, I had to take off another star.For adding Bluetooth audio to a device without it, this adapter might be a reasonable choice, but there are cheaper alternatives. Owing to the apparent lack of a codec switch/indicator, I can’t recommend it.

I use this for my ps5 controller as I have a few smart ear buds that aren’t compatible with ps5 which doesn’t make much sense since it’s Bluetooth. But I use this and for the first 1-2 minutes there was a delay in sound and static but since then it works perfectly. Use it a few hours per week with any issues. Really happy I got this.
