I tried this fluid with my diagnostic smoke machine and it worked flawlessly. The smoke is thick and consistent, making it easy to spot even small leaks. I ordered this smoke fluid for my automotive smoke machine. I had read several reviews on the machine saying that people were using mineral oil but that it had such a foul odor and lingered for long. I didn't want to try that. I am pleased that a small amount of this makes a large amount of light gray to white smoke that has very little odor. I wouldn't recommend you smelling it directly because it did irritate my senses, but other than that just running in the open there was no noticeable odor.

This fluid works in my generic smoke machine as well as the fluid that was included with it. The price is reasonable especially compared to what you would pay in person at a parts store. Not much else to say - I am satisfied!

Easy to use just take cap off and pour. A good piece of mind knowing this is actually made for the smoke machines versus trying to find mineral oil or baby oil at the store and hoping it’ll work and won’t ruin your machine. It gives off a vibrant white smoke. The odor is less desirable but nature of the beast

Paired with a cheap smoke generator, this makes a lot of visible smoke that's been helpful to find leaks. Might not be better than mineral oil, but it does work.
