For the price, this set works pretty well. I had a few of the connectors fail using the supplied crimpers, but overall I was able to get my project done with this set. If I needed to get some 90 degree connectors again for a single project or something non-critical, then I would get this set again. If I were doing more serious work or needed to create 90 degree connections more often then I would probably recommend a better set.

I didn't have high hopes for these but was pleased when I learned to use them correctly. I use them on wires carrying 3000v on magnetron's. They make a solid connection and haven't had any issues.

The crimper only works on the red and blue terminals. It needs a different set of jaws to crimp the larger yellow terminals.

first of all, the terminal connector size was incorrect. the blue one, according to the description, should fit 16-14AWG wire, however, my 16 AWG strand wire could not fit it at all. I tried 16 AWG solid wire, it could barely go in either. I do not know how 14 AWG wire fits in.I tried the yellow terminal, the 16 AWG went in easily, however, the tool does not work on the yellow terminals. its teeth work only for blue or red terminals (you see blue and red dots next to the teeth, but no yellow). I had to use a groove piler to compress the terminal. I did not get a chance to try the blue or red terminals, because I was disappointed enough.if you are connecting flag terminal with wire 14 AWG or bigger, do not buy this tool or terminal.

Flags fit this tool perfectly. There's a rachet mechanism that allows the flag to be tightened so it will stay in position while the wire is inserted before crimping. Rachet releases when t he crimp is done. Fine tool.

This crimp set is great as long as the red and blue connectors fit the wire gage you are working with. But the yellow connectors (for larger gage wire) will not fit in the crimp tool. Not sure why the yellows are even included in this set since it is almost impossible to crimp them properly without the specialized tool. Luckily, all of my needs so far have been met with the red/blue connectors.
