Made of 1000D Oxford with totally 13 (12 small and 1 large) polypropylene slab liners, GearOZ snake gaiters achieve full protection against snake bites and thorns.
The straps and buckles of our gaiters are extremely durable. The straps are tightly sewn and the material of buckles is Fiber-reinforced Polymer. You don't have to worry about the service life of them.
Because of the 13 oz of weight, you can wear them easily and may even fail to notice they are on your calves.
We use a water repellent coating on GearOZ snake gaiters, promising the resistance to water and meanwhile, taking breathability into consideration.

These were purchased so that we could move about in confidence on our heavily wooded property for clean up and assessment. We did encounter a few snakes but none were particularly aggressive and fortunately these were not tested, however they were a great layer of protection, great quality, good value, and easy to use and put back in their pouches. I would recommend these.

I love that they were adjustable to like size so my son and I both could use them interchangeably. The weight was light. the durability seems good. The fit was good because it was easily adjustable and the thickness seems appropriate thank goodness we didn’t actually have a snake bite to test it with. Lol

They are bulky to wear and a little awkward but when it comes to safety then it's acceptable.

I was looking for a pair of snake chaps that I could wear all day and walk long distances in comfort.. For the money, these are outstanding. Easy to put on. They fit well and cover all the areas that need protection. I keep mine a bit loose because I do a lot of scouting and hiking. Occasionally I need to stop and adjust the gaiters to straighten them out. Tightening the straps will fix this issue but I prefer the comfort of loose fitting gaiters when walking long distances.

good product. they offer great protection. I like them a lot, less worry about ticks and no more worry about snakes. a few said they were hard to get on, I'm 65 yrs. old, 100#s overweight, if you can't get these on, you have more to worry about than snake bites. They are light, I had them on over jeans and socks, on an 80-degree day, walked 2 miles and barely noticed them. the straps could be a little longer for me because my left leg swells. If I had to buy again, I would buy the same ones. Thanks.

Used for safe mowing and weedwacking. They keep stuff being thrown free of the machines from scratching up my legs. Also firm enough to endure a snake bite. Tough but comfortable and adjustable. Easy-to-use. They Look nice too.ðŸ˜

These work great. They’re lightweight but structurally robust. The strapping system is intuitive, adjustable, and fast to put on or take off. Whether I’m clearing rattle snake infested brush, hiking thickets, or weed-eating my yard, I’m very happy with this product.

These snake gaiters seem to be made well enough for occasional use and the rigid panels appear to be - based on my non-expert opinion - sufficient to stop a snakebite. In other words, I feel like it would take one heck of a snake to bite through the fabric, the rigid panels, your pants, etc.That said, I have two gripes: 1) the calf strap is pretty short. If I fully extend them and pullas tightly as possible I can get them snapped closed, but in practice there’s no way they are going to comfortably fit around my calf when wearing long pants. Conversely, the gaiters don’t taper at all, so the ankles are really wide. Not sure if that will cause any problem while using them because I haven’t gone on my trip yet. 2) there is no way to attach the bottom to your boots, so it’s likely they will rotate while wearing.In short, if your calves are on the larger size, these may not fit. I’m debating on whether to return these or modify them for a better and more secure fit.
