Ran across this guy while doing yard work. Wish I had tongs then.Away to the wildlife refuge he went. The tongs are really well built.Good length, should allow the snake to be bagged easily.The model I bought has an attachable flash light for dark areas.Comes with a wrap for gripping. Has a rubber pad for holding the snake.I am confident that the tongs will perform great. I am ordering a secondto carry in the truck. I'll update when I actually get to use these. Can't wait!

I like this snake grabber but I'm a bit concerned about how tightly it grabs. I'm worried that if I grab a snake with it that it might hurt the animal. I haven't tried it out on my own snakes but hope to soon try it out on some snakes in the wild while camping. There's an area we go to that has lots of snakes and I think this will be a great tool for when we're camping there. The tool folds over so it stores more easily and it locks in place with ease. It's very sturdy and the grabbing part at the bottom is quite large. You could grab some big snakes with this with no trouble at all.
