This worked perfectly for church. We were able to make it work so that the singer was able to control the music from their phone. The sound quality was good, no distortion.

I got this to plug a laptop or phone audio directly into an XLR jack. At our church, many rooms have microphone/XLR jacks but no USBC or 1/8-inch jacks. And iPhones no longer come with a headphone jack. Many laptops also don't come with a headphone jack. So, this adapter can get the job done in those situations where I need to run my audio or play music through our sound system. The current price at $16 is pretty reasonable to me.

It would have been nice to have a 4ft cable instead of a 6ft cable !! This cable was used to connect my ipad to my 16 channel mixing board.

This cable causes major distortion of audio that runs through it. I've tried this on a file that plays flawlessly when played to a PA system using a standard stereo cable and when played through this cable, the tracks sound badly distorted. Unfortunately, this is not a usable piece of equipment for any use-case. Will be returning.Looking for positives about this cable? Well, it does look nice!
