When I ordered these hooks, I really was not sure how I would use them. Then it became clear to me - I attach on side to the zipper to my purse and the other side to the ring on my key chain. When I need my keys, I do not have to search all over the bottom of the purse to find them.

These worked out very well for locking my chicken cage. A coon can't open them, yet, and the double sided hooks make them multitask able. I used the extra one to hang my shed key in a private location. So I used them as locks and key hangers.

I had one that i found and it lasted so long that i searched for the same exact on and i believe this is it. It matches exactly to the one I had.Same spring resistance the same metal finish.Only time will tell if I'm right.So far I'm happy with my purchase.

Nice finish, decent quality clips. I'm using them for my leatherwork, but wouldn't trust them for suspension or other dangerous activities. Not that they have given me reason, just that I am over cautious. YMMV.
