It is great ideal about having a spare for your machine. You don’t ever know when something will happen and you have to wait and go to the quilt store our fabric store or the sewing machine store to get what you need. It’s just always nice to have an extra.

Oi. I don't use my sewing machine as much as I used to. I recently purchased a blind hem foot for altering a performance costume and didn't realize I needed this attachment until it was too late. I made what I had work, but now I have this piece for next time.

The quality just isn’t there on this shank… looks ever so slightly cheaper & does fit properly on my newer Brother, but when I put the foot on, it does not hold it. Keeps letting it go. Returning.

You need a very short screw to hold it on. I got through a quilt using this and it worked just fine with the right size screw to hold it tight.
