Rebar
FAA Retired

I never gave much thought to using this type of product before … I always just propped up 1/2†rebar (#4) onto scraps of brick. My latest project I wanted to know if I was missing something … so I purchased this. They literally just snap in place - and hold on easily! So much quicker than managing brick height. Can’t imagine not using them from here on …

These can be frustrating to use. Maybe on bigger rebar they would work better but I was using #4 (which is in its range) and found them to be extremely floppy. Their grip just isn't tight enough, so they want to rotate as you're getting your rebar set up. You have to spend a lot of time fixing them if you want your rebar to have the proper standoff.

I used it to float steel for a concrete countertop. I only used less than 10, I hope they sell lesser quantity. I can recommend

Worked great, saved over big box store prices.

Broke easily. Base is too small causing it hard to keep under the rebar

I will return this item for not specifying the dimensions. Waste of time.

Thought during Prime days that they were a good price but when shopping locally at home hardware stores and receiving the product realized that they were only $0.01 cents cheaper than local hardware retail store. The ones at the local hardware store are better quality and design for holding up the steel structure in concrete forming.
