Solid safe. Very well packaged. Easy to install. My studs were a tiny bit narrow at the install point so I had to persuade the safe into position with a mallet. Safe is not truly flush as the metal sits proud of the drywall by almost 1/8". I guess I could have carved out a bit of the drywall. That would have made a damned mess. It is the most flush safe of any I found. The buttons are self lit which is nice. I would have liked to get one about 12 inches taller. A regular AR or Rem shotty reach to the top. I would get this again and recommend it to anyone.

This was easy to install and use. Install instructions are on their website and its as simple as they make it sound. Would highly recommend! Note, this is not burglary rated.

I wanted a safe that I could hide in plain sight. This item filled the bill and then some. I love that it is hidden behind a full length wall mirror. It is very easy to use and is well-built. The only downside with it was that I had to hire someone to install it, as the location I wanted to place it did not have wall studs that were 16 inches apart. It is quite roomy and can be used as a gun safe as well.

Quality seems good, heavier steel than other in-wall safes I’ve purchased.THIS IS MY SECOND UNITELECTRONIC LOCK IS PROBLEMATIC AT BESTSnapsafe (Hornady) support is helpless. They don’t manufacture, and cannot replace parts. All they can do is exchange.You must enter code multiple times to get it to open. After explaining issue to them, they agreed to replace, but I had to purchase 2nd one and get a refund when old one returned. 2ND UNIT DOES EXACT SAME THING. You enter code, LEDs/beep indicates success, but door mechanism doesn’t operate. Several tries later, the mechanism starts making small movement but door remains locked. Several more tries and it finally opens. Good luck opening in an emergency.I have a large hole in my wall sized to this safe - it’s not like I can return it and replace with another company’s product!BEWARE

I had to build a 2x4 frame to install this as the install area was not 16 inches on center and had metal studs. It actually worked out better for my particular install I will sheet rock it back in later. This safe is phenomenal. It is a great place to keep valuables or firearms. It is intended as a quick /easy access and as a theft deterrent. It doesn’t appear to carry any fireproof rating but it does its job to secure items in conjunction with other measures. I wouldn’t store the queens diamonds inside but then again I don’t have the queens diamonds It is definitely a great security measure. !
