The product is "95 -99.5% sodium chloride". This is essentially rock salt sold as a "Calcium Chloride Blend". It meets that definition by only the slightest technicality by adding as little as 0.5% calcium chloride to the salt. There is no text anywhere on the listing with the words "NaCl" or "Sodium" despite this being almost entirely comprised of that salt.

Seller has a contract with shipper to deliver to customer. If shipper loses the product, Snow Joe says it's not their responsibility to deliver the product to you. Rather than seeking a refund thru their carrier contract, they choose to just keep your money.
