By the time you need a snow shovel, it's too late to find one. They're either sold out or by the time it's sipped the snow is gone. That's been my experience- living in the south.So I ordered this and just held on until the day I could use it. We were finally able to break it out and give it a try! It's great! Easy to use for both my husband and myself. It's lightweight and nice quality. I use it a little like a pusher and he uses it more like a shovel. Either way, it clears snow and makes it a breeze. I have not been able to use it yet, because the weather predictions are wrong yet again! Still the shovel seems to be decent in its intent: lightweight and ergonomic.As for the assembly, this could easily have been a unibody design vs in parts.To assemble: ensure the hex screws are inserted along the downward facing side (aka you shouldn’t see them when shoveling). And, insert both screw and hex screw pairs at the same time - trying the manually connect by twisting with both hands. Then tighten via the Allen wrench on the hex screw. Note this is not how the easy instructions are written, but I could not get the thing assembled any other way. Plus it took me 30 minutes, when it should have taken 5 minutes max. This is likely due to inconsistent machine hole drills.So I cannot tell you how great of a shovel it is, but serious frustrations over the unneeded assembly.

Excellent shovel. Was a bit sceptical about a shovel that came in a box. It was easy to put together and I used it for four hours shoveling over 10inches of snow. Held up nicely. I'm 6'3" 250lbs and it was strong enough for me.

This shovel looks nice---but it is impossible to assemble---screws don't line up so you end up just turning and turning with no actual secured hold between the screw and the nut----TOTAL WASTE of time and poorly designed. Read all the other reviews saying the same thing!

First impressions are great, I had no problem with the install and everything fit correctly. All hardware was included in the box with the shovel. I haven't used it on the snow/ice yet, but the instructions do recommend that you don't use it on hard snow/ice. So far the value of the shovel matches the quality. It feels sturdy and when I simulated shoveling snow it feels good in my hands. So far I would say its a completely functional shovel.

The shovel is light and the design makes it easy to use. A real downside is the nuts and bolts used to put it together. This was more than a minor inconvenience. The bolts had some sort of blue substance on the threads which made it almost impossible to thread the nut on. I had to spray WD40 on the threads and put the bolt in a vice grip to force the nut on. There are some buyers who could accomplish this but my guess is that 75% of the public would not have had the necessary strength or equipment to assemble it. After it was assembled and put to use I found it to be the best snow shovel I have ever used.

The shovel has a good ergonomic shape and works well to push or lift and throw snow. The metal edge works well. I also noticed that snow didn’t seem to stick to the shovel which was helpful. Some complained about assembly and I found it was easy. I did use a small amount of hand soap on the receiving screw and it helped to gently hammer these into place before tightening.

Been using this shovel almost daily for the last 4 weeks now this winter. It's light-weight, but high quality. It has sustained a lot of abuse and still looks great! Every time it snows, I'm really excited to use it! Comfort and ease of use has given me the reason to keep using it! Recommended!

I thought this would be easier to put together, the screws fit very tightly and difficult to align to tighten. Is lightweight, which I wanted and seems to be sturdy. We'll see how it works and if it helps my back.

Weird shovel. It also didn't go together properly. When we tried to attach the head to the handle part, we realized one of the circular holes where the bolt goes was not cut properly. We tried for almost an hour to put it together and adjust but the metal hole was simply not big enough for the bolt to to into it.
