With fall safety gear the question I always ask myself is: would I bet my life on this? After examining this harness very, very closely, my answer is absolutely. It’s an outstandingly well made harness. The materials are all high quality, the buckles and hardware is top notch, and the sewing is all tight and straight with no missed areas or loose threads. The claimed sizing seems fairly accurate, and I view this as important, and not just for sizing. I figure if a safety gear company’s claims about sizing can’t be trusted I sure can’t trust their claims about working load, break strength, and other things that could lead to my death if wrong. Here, they claim 49.2 inches max around the waist. It’s hard to measure flexible objects perfectly but using a tape I did my best to get it to conform all the way around and I got about 48 inches. This seems pretty close considering how difficult it is to measure exactly. Likewise the leg loops are claimed 29.5 inches max. I actually got 32 inches which is also pretty close all things considered. So on the whole I would recommend this harness without any hesitation. It’s one of the better fall harnesses I’ve seen and for the price it’s offered at it’s actually the best I’ve seen ever.

Among the myriad things I've done in my life, I've worked at one of the largest amusement parks in the U.S. as a ride maintenance mechanic. As you might be able to imagine, this involves things like...climbing roller coasters and working wayyy high up in man-baskets suspended from cranes. Needless to say, fall protection is taken very seriously, with everyone being issued their own rig which gets inspected and re-certified often, and fall protection gear is something I'm very familiar with using on a professional basis. This is a very comfortable, well-fitting harness that I wouldn't hesitate to use for, well, really anything working aloft, whether you're sitting in a tree stand or painting the eves of your house while standing on scaffolding. The buckles are all top quality, and so is the stitching in the webbing. Also nice is the frankly MYRIAD of attachment / recovery points this harness has. That makes it easy to find a good spot to tie off.The only thing you need with this is a fall arrester (preferably) or a climbing rope. I highly recommend a fall arrester suited for the work you'll be doing. Amazon sells many different styles and brands.Overall, I was very impressed with this gear. It's easy to put on and take off, isn't hard to get adjusted for comfort, and is comfortable to wear. As comfortable as being in a harness can be, anyway. If you've ever spent an 8 hour shift in one of these rigs, even eating lunch while wearing one, you'll understand "comfort" to be a relative term, but this is honestly about as good as it gets.5 stars, recommended.

This harness arrived intact and in new condition inside a clear plastic bag. The bag containing the harness feels very rugged and abrasion-resistant. The harness itself feels like its made of quality parts. It is about as comfortable to wear as any other pre-made harness I've used. But is is sure better than a homemade swiss-seat!

I did a little repelling in the military over in Europe. This is a huge upgrade over what we had in the 90s. I have needed to do roof work at my father-in-law’s but his roofs are steel and very steep angle. I’ve been wondering how to stay safe while taking care of the vent cap. I know I could “tie†a rope seat but that would be terribly uncomfortable and painful if I ever fell. This seat is very comfortable. It adjusts easily from me xx large guy to my wife small gal. Before going up on the roof we tested the harness and suspended me. I guess it must have looked fun because my wife insisted on trying and she ended up basically repelling down from the loft! Considering the quality thus seat is a good value.

I have been building a treehouse in our backyard and running into areas that are almost impossible to reach from the ground. In pondering how to reach these spots, I've resigned myself to the fact that the only way to do so would be by climbing the tree and coming in from above the treehouse. And because I'm a dad and don't want to kill myself by falling from a tree, I decided I needed to find a harness and climbing accessories so assist with this. The overall built quality of this harness is very good and what I would expect from a professional rig. After trying it on and adjusting it, the harness was much more comfortable to wear than I expected. The sewing appears to be done super well and definitely instills confidence. I'm no expert on climbing gear but this appears to be a top notch harness for doing so.

This SOB Safety Harness is exactly what you would expect in a safety harness. The individual leg seat is padded and comfortable. The materials are very tough and high quality. It has really thick metal clips and adjustments. When you see it, you will understand why it cost what it does. Overall, I am happy with this harness.

Good harness that is easy to put on. It isn't going to break so as long as your lanyard is good then you will be good. Looks good and feels comfortable. I use it to clean out my gutters. My roof is steep and there is a two story drop off so I like knowing if I slide off i"m stuck hanging but alive.

This harness is a game-changer for tree stand hunting. It's lightweight and breathable, but feels incredibly secure with its 7-point adjustment and 360-degree rotation. The padding is comfortable even after hours in the stand. Highly recommend for anyone who values safety and comfort.
