Used on tie on different parts of a wire shelf vertically, to help separate artwork from touching each other. Did just the job. Not a bad price for what it was. I did end up needing more than one set, so I did order the same one again. No complaints!

Used it for demo on Japanese rope bondage. Works well but is a bit stretchy so you have to pull it snug. .

It is a surprisingly soft rope, if that's what you're looking for. The core of the rope compresses easily which gives the rope more stretch than I would like. While it is strong enough to use for its suggested uses of crafts, knot tying and camping, I would not use it to secure anything in the back of a truck or trailer.I thought this would be a good set of ropes to practice knot tying. The listing says that it holds knots well. I agree but maybe it holds them too well. As I mentioned earlier, the core is easily compressed and the rope has some stretch to it. When a knot is tightened, that compression adds internal pressure into the knot. So even knots that should be easy to untie become more difficult. So, yes, it can be used to practice knot tying just don't overtighten it.This rope could have many uses on a campout. It would make a nice clothes line or could be used as a guy wire for a tent/canopy in a pinch. I wouldn't use it for hanging a bear bag or anything heavy like that. The weight of the bear bag and the abrasive tree-bark would eat up the rope while hoisting the bag and severely degrade the rope's strength.Some reviewers mention that it is machine washable but I cannot fine anywhere in the listing where that is stated. I've never once felt the need to wash a rope so I don't see this as a limitation. If it did get wet, I expect that it would take a while to dry given how absorbent the core is.This is not a bad set of ropes if you stick to the intended uses.

I found myself using these more than I had anticipated. I put one in my truck and have used it to secure cargo. I have one in my shed and have used that to tie down a faulty door until I could repair it and I have one in my garage that I use for many things. A great pack of quality rope.

I love doing magic tricks with rope. They’re so much fun when you get to make three different length ropes end up all being the same length or cutting a rope in half and then having it all put back together again (and so many more). I usually use white cotton clothesline for these tricks, but when I saw these black (2) and red (1) ten-meter-long cotton ropes, I ordered them. Using these colored ropes will make people think that the colors have something to do with the tricks (but they don’t).These ropes have a very nice woven inner cord that provides strength and bulk to the rope. There is a soft outer colored cotton rope that is what you see and feel. In my magic tricks I cut off the appropriate length of rope and pull out the inner core. I then have the outer rope in a more flexible form that allows me to handle it more easily in my tricks. I usually discard the inner core of the rope because it’s useless for my purposes. But this core is so nicely made and strong that I can use it for other tricks. So, I get two ropes for the price of one. Even if that’s not your experience, I’m sure you’ll get good use out of this rope.I am perhaps not using these ropes for the use intended on the sales site video, but I think they’ll serve my purposes very well!

Definitely a solid rope that can be used for a multitude of things. I would keep it more hobby related and not rely on for any kind of real strain. Flower pots, bedroom play, other crafts would all be great for. It is pretty soft so dont have to worry about it really damaging or scratching up furniture. The price is probably higher than what you can get at local large box crafts store but saves the trip and isnt too over the top. If in the market for some hobbiest type rope and dont want to head into the store or its too far away this is great option.
