How to Install the Soft Roof Rack Pads?
Open all doors on the vehicle, place soft racks on the roof of the vehicle at least 23.62inch apart.
Pass the straps through the vehicle andlockdown by the buckle outside the car.
Run the straps through the buckles on the opposite side of the vehicle and pull tight.
Secure the bow and stern of the boat to the front and back of the vehicle with the ropes.

Needed to transport a kayak 500 miles from Toledo to the Upper Peninsula on the roof of my Prius. Was unsure of exactly which package to get, I settled on this because of the large roof pads and the T brackets for the front hood. Everything worked fine. The roof pads were thick and firm with plenty of strap length and solid strap clasps. The kayak never moved and inch, and the straps and ropes left no damage to the finish. Consider this a very good purchase

Very easy to setup, I put them on a Dodge Dart. They held my Kayak in place. when I tried to move the kayak to check if it was secure, the whole car moved when I shook the kayak. I was so impressed that I bought a second set for my Granddaughter. I can think of more uses for them than just the Kayak.

Work great on my Honda accord. I ski a lot and we like to carpool. This makes it so much nicer for anyone in the back since we used to put the seat down. I do recommend stopping every 2-3 hours to check on the tightness but overall great and non damaging to my car

Just used this the other day. The instructions are not clear enough in my opinion.Two of the tie downs need to be attached under the hood. Remove a fender bolt. Take out fender bolt. Place it in the grommet and re-install said bolt. Do this on both side under the hood . Now you can easily hide them under the hood when un-used.The other two can be closed in the trunk lid or hatch. Actually used this for the first time. First thing I noticed was the straps hum in the wind. You need to thread the straps around the other straps for the cushion on the carrier. The tie down rope that comes with this. Is sufficient. You might want to upgrade the d~rings on the ends. This whole rig will work for occasional use. Just take care of it.

These fit perfect! Foam is sturdy and it included all the straps necessary for me to pick up a Kayla on a pulse buy. Overnight shipping was great I woke up I was there. Easy install and they fold in half for storage. It also came with a storage bag to keep everything in one place.

Did not expect how well designed this was. Sturdy tie-downs and ratchet clasps for tightening the straps. I like the fact that the whole thing comes apart and goes into the bag that you can store in the car. I plan to use it t transport some display panels that wouldn't fit into my car for a craft show and this solves my problem really effectively.
