Worked great and easy to use. I packed them in the suitcase and then strapped 3 (longboard) surf boards to the roof of the rental car no problem. Straps were plenty long and secure. Boards did not move.

Excellent product, i have a Chevy Equinox leased throgh my job so i can not add a real roof rack so have went through several “soft†options for my field and stream 12’ Kayak and they all were terrible, either wouldnt secure properly or made horrible unbearable noise. This rack worked great on recent 500 mile round trip vacation , easy to install and strap, made no noise and didnt budge an inch the entire trip either way. Highly recommend. watch the install video if youve never used this type of rack, its simple. If no video on Amazon check you tube.

Got these in November for our SUV for a 8ft Foam board that our son got for his Birthday. Tested out install in December with no beach trip in sight, just so I would know how to do it...fast forward to late March...I totally forgot how to install and directions and YouTube didn’t help. I spent an hour trying to get two straps through a single buckle because I am a complete moron...but I took everything off, took a deep breath, sent the family inside...and promptly installed everything in less than 5 minutes.Drove an hour + to the beach, on the freeway between 60-75mph and no whistling, no strap flapping or loosening. Coming back, same speeds, everything stayed tight and the board moved a couple inches in travel but that could have been because the board was sandy.These were a great buy and I highly recommend for the occasional surfer who wants an inexpensive way to get their board to and from the beach!

I am so glad I found this product. I have used everything from pool noodles, to kayak foam pads, to bed rolls (yes I got creative). This product is super simple to use and I can trust that my kayak will not get loose. I use it on top on my Chevy Impala and it works great. These just stay in my trunk when not in use. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone!

this would be so perfect if it didn’t let water in. the straps go through the doors of your car, breaking the seal your car door creates. after a storm / heavy rain your car will smell like pure moldy food. you have to take the racks on and off every time you use them. otherwise, it works perfectly. i go 70 mph no problem with two 8’ boards!

Got these for a surfboard. Install was very easy.Strapping on surfboards was also easy. Boards have been steady while driving but I have not gone more than 40mph yet so not sure how it does on higher speeds.The metal hook straps are all outside on the roof.. meaning you do not tie it down inside your car. I like that better than other models/vendors where you tie it inside your car. The hooks are also on the outside surface of the padding so they never get in touch with your car and no risk of scratching.
