Step 1
Thread the soft shackle through the tow point
Step 2
Open the soft shackle by loosening and slipping off the loop over the knot.
Step 3
Pull the knot through the loop.
Step 4
Loop the shackle eye back over the knot and pull to tighten.

They are soft and stow away easily. They have been violently yanked on and held tight, didn’t break and didn’t damage the vehicle like a steal clevis would have. The price is right for the functionality in my opinion. The bright green color makes them easy to find if you drop them in the snow. I’ll buy more so I have some in all my vehicles with the kinetic strap as well.

The first time we used these (or any soft shackles) was a stressful morning. I made a few mistakes.We were towing a pickup to be repaired, the pickup did not have suitable attachment points for these soft shackles, I had my 17 year old hook this up without supervision, and He did the pulling for several blocks.Disappointed that there were no suitable attachment points I told him to attach to the stabilizer bar on the front of the pickup and be careful. When he hooked it up he did not ensure the sleeve was in a position to protect the shackle.When we made a turn the soft shackle slid all the way across the bar causing some melting.The shackle survived well enough to be used to move vehicles around the yard or short distances, But I would not consider using it for a recovery.We used the other shackle out of the kit to tie two tow straps together and it worked great.I am convened enough that these are good quality I replaced this with another set just like them.Like I said I believe this partial failure to be 100% Operator Malfunction on my part. I did not consult Amazon, the sellers, or manufactures about the issue. It was not there doing.If you are in need of soft shackle I believe they are good ones, just ensure you use them properly.

One of my favorite recovery tools to have. This shackle is so much nicer and easier to use than a traditional u-shaped one. The opening is wide enough for large straps and you can undo the loop to thread it through something. For size and weight it is not cumbersome and easy to store. So far it's been very durable with no issues. I'll probably buy more!

Needed some shackles for my recovery bag. I don’t go off road often so I did not want to spend a lot. These seem plenty strong and look to be a great value

Purchased a set of these shackles for my UTVs. The quality isn’t the best but for the price you can’t go wrong. They do come with 4 protective black sleeves. I would gladly purchase more and recommend to anyone.I went with the color green to make it easier to find. They are very bright green.

I tested to make sure I could use these everywhere I wanted (I have a jeep with winches on both ends, and do a lot of off road recovery stuff). I love the idea of not having heavy steel parts to fly around if something breaks or comes loose.These fit through the mounting hole for my current D-rings (shackle if you prefer), even the protective sleeve can be worked in there. I actually intend to use them elsewhere, but it's nice to have that option too.I'm going to order another set to keep in my truck, which never intentionally needs the recovery gear it carries (the jeep is supposed to be the risk taker).

The description needs to be better :1. Description says Black, while the Pic is Grey. Received Black.2. 38000 lbs is the Breaking Strength mentioned in the Product Description as well as in the 'Product Specifications' (which is 19 tons approx). However, in the 'About this item' it mentions 58,000 lbs (this is 29 tons approx).3. In the Product received, there is no product information/literature. There is something that appears to be either 125t or 125c. It could be that the '1' (before the 25) is a line and it may be meant to read as 25t - which does not match with their 38000 lbs or 58000 lbs in the description details.All these readings are well above my needs so should be good. Time will tell when put to use.

I do NOT recommend buying from this vendor anymore. 2 times, I have the same mistake. Please look for your request somewhere.An escalation process has already been launched against this supplier. Amazon promised to take severe action against the unpredicted performance of this supplier.
