All of my wooden styles' were completely worn out, so I thought it was time for something new. I absolutely love these. They are much easier to hold than the wooden handled ones, and the selection of ball tips is perfect. They make wonderful dots on my craft paintings, and also are great to transfer patterns onto wood with graphite paper.Good price and good product.

I really wondered if these would be helpful, after all we can use any number of rounded tips to transfer images to our wood pieces. I was pleasantly surprised to see the quality and utility of this set of instruments. They are very well made and each stylus has two different sized tips, so you are actually getting 6 tools with this set. If you are particular about your work and want precise transfer of the image these are very worthwhile.

I bought these to use for tracing patterns on rock. They are easy to hold and the different size tips make it a great choice on different types of rocks.

I've purchased a number of dotting tools recently for working with polymer clay. These are the nicest I've found so far. The small size works well for the miniatures I enjoy making. My only complaint is that the smallest one, which I use the most, is also a ball instead of having just a point on a long taper which is what it looks like. Since it is a very small ball on a very narrow taper, it looks like one long taper with a ballpoint-type tip, but since there's a teeny bit of rounding of that ball and the taper that goes to the handle connects at a smaller point that the circumference of the tip, bits of clay can collect along this little indentation and I'm constantly cleaning it out. Aside from that one little frustration of constantly having to clean out that little groove, these work great for sculpting miniatures!The thing that stands out the most about these dotting tools versus the others that I've purchased is that the packaging for these is respectable looking as though you could purchase it in a store. Everyone else seems to be just shipping tools in zpilocs, but these with their nice packaging would be acceptable as a gift even. Very professional presentation, particularly compared to the competition!

I am in my 70's. Purchasing this stylus set reminded me, once again, there are tools (no matter how simple) to do a job that are just a little bit better than "the old fashioned way." I do large scale wood burning, 3 ft. x 5 ft up to 4 ft. x 8 ft. panels. Transferring an intricate design, think 17th and 18th century copper engravings, onto the wood with the standard pencil has served my well for the last 50 years, but I suspect I have sharpened enough pencils to leave a mound of shavings behind me as large as the Pyramids.When this set arrived I was quick to put each stylus, styli?, through its paces. Wow! Not a word I often use - if ever. The first thing noticed was the comfort level. The second was the ease with which to transfer the pattern through the paper/graphite tissue onto the wood. My fingers began reenacting the principle story line from "The Red Shoes" - without all the sweat and dying thing. However, keeping to my analogy, it was love at first sight, or, first feel in this case.With my pencils now retired, I would have to conclude that the purchase of this set is well worth it. Now, what to do with that pile of shavings.

These are very good haven't broken on me even tho I apply some force since I can't be gentle at all. LolBut they came nicely packaged. Two of the had some loose tips but nothing some crazy glue or gorilla glue can't fix. But overall they're goodPros. A five or six piece kit was overkill for my needs so I was quite pleased to discover this simple 3 piece set for a good price. I love them, especially the soft gel grips as I tend to grip too firmly this alleviates any pain after long term use and really helps for nonslip application creating tiny details on my artwork. I have worked with polymer clay for many years, but only in the last year have I noticed people utilizing these tools in books and YouTube videos. It took me forever to figure out the "real" name, but when I came across this set, I knew I had to have them.They are made wonderfully and I can use them for long periods without my hands cramping up or getting sore spots from gripping other tools too firmly. I spoke with another artist friend of mine after I placed my order and she said she had been using the exact same ones for years and loved them too. Great quality and a lot of versatility in these three pieces.

I wanted a stylus mainly for papercrafting and originally was looking via Stampin Up but their stylus is not sold separately to their score board; these popped up in my Amazon search and I'm delighted with them. The price point is excellent; they are a very useful range of sizes (double ended so 6 sizes) and the smallest size pierces paper neatly too. They are sturdy and very comfortable to hold. They'll be great for my air dry clay work as well. Fantastic find.
