I have another moisture meter it only registers how wet the soil is doesn't have pH or light. The pH reading I think is accurate on mine because I know the water is hard. Only thing that bothers me is I use filtered water so I don't understand why it's coming up as being hard water number. The light feature that's the one I don't get .Everything I put it next to says dark dark dark. And I know you don't put cactuses in the dark so how accurate is that?? I don't think so.

the PH and Light in the Soil operations don't work at all. I have a high tech electronic one and it reads pH and Minerals great my auto flower cannabis plants are in the 6% range perfect but this just says 0 every time on PH the same with lightness of soil. But The moisture operation spot on for its low Tech make and cost. Worth the cost if all you want is accurate moisture content read.

This is a must have for keeping your houseplants healthy. You can push it in the soil and it tells you the moisture level at different depths so you know just how much to water. I have two and use them many times a week in my home and in my greenhouse.

I always either over water or underwater. I never got this right. So this was the best thing I ever bought. I have only a few plants that lasted through the learning curve of my plant education and I love plants but this was needed from the start. I wish I had thought of this to begin with years ago. I check the water levels once a week on all of my plants which are tropical. I mostly do just that bc the soil never seems the issue. It works amazing. Since I have had this, it's taken the guess work out completely. This is the greatest thing ever.
