Great at identifying the moisture levels. Winter watering is always difficult to determine for my succulents and this product has really helped me keep my plants alive. Their cheat sheet for watering levels is surprisingly comprehensive. I’d buy again.

I love this probe, it seems pretty accurate, I know where the moisture level is in the soil without digging my finger around now! My plants are healthier now because I'm not over watering OR letting them get too dry.

Initially the product seemed to work . It was pretty accurate when i used it and then did the finger check being it. On day 2 i used it and the meter was stuck at 2 . Won’t move . I lightly watered after this morning the meter reading around 4 . Went back hours later after watering to read soil again and nothing. It stopped working . Ill be returning not certain If ill get the same meter . I did like the head odd miserable for easy reading . Disappointed

The vendor reached out and sent me a replacement quickly. To date, the tip is still on!!I have had this just past the window of return. This morning I realized that my plants were reading dry. I knew it couldn't be totally dry as I had watered yesterday. Looked closely and found that the tip is missing. Who knows which plant the tip is in. Hoping the vendor reaches out and replaces it but if that doesn't happen I will keep my review as 1. It is useless to me now and a waste of money. I will purchase another brand.

My wife loves this meter, but after using (and wiping dry after each use with a micro-fiber cloth), it may need to be cleaned dry with a very fine grit emery cloth to give a proper reading. This has also happened with other brand moisture probes. I suspect that probes acquire a film/coating over time that needs to be regularly cleared. I use a P1000 emery cloth: fast and easy to clean dry then wipe off. It doesn't need to be highly abraded. Instructions also indicate this should be done every few weeks.

I was disappointed as the gauge for reading the moisture is a bit smaller than I expected & since my mom (i purchased it for her) has poor vision so it was difficult for her to read. We could live with that but unfortunately the tip of the meter came of at some point. All that being said, the fact that the head is tiltable to be read at different angles is excellent. I was unable to return the product however the company issued a full refund which is kind of them and makes me inclined to purchase from them again.
