I used this to locate a good spot to plant blueberry bushes on our property. Very simple to use, you essentially just get a soil sample, mix it with water in a small cup, then use the strip to determine the acidity. Cheap, quick, and effective!

Paper strip reading is a quick indication of the soil pH condition. I used it for determination of whether to used lime on the lawn and it worked well. Pretty easy test to use.

I was excited to finally be able to check the PH of my soil without sending in soil samples. Sadly these do not work. No matter what I tested the colors were always the same. I ended up buying a digital meter and found the results in each area were totally different. Glad I didn't trust the results on these strips, I could have added the wrong additives for balancing my soil out.
