It was great for cameras and phone cameras! We could see the eclipse perfectly, and as far as we know our eyesight was protected well! No reason to think otherwise! :-)We will get them in advance of the next eclipse again for sure!

Filters were wavy in the cardboard frames so made distorted photos. Would NOT buy again and a waste of money for these. Missed out on a once in a lifetime event. Disappointed.

The lenses arrived a little bent, but they were very much usable. I used a small amount of tape to attach the lens over my cell phone's lenses. I have a Samsung 23 Ultra, which as a total of 5 rear facing camera lenses. I was somewhat concerned the eclipse lens would not cover all the camera lenses, but it did.Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. I took off one star due to the product arriving bent, which was likely due to Amazon's packaging and rough handling during shipping.

I am a science teacher, and I took my students outside to see the solar eclipse. NASA warns not to take pictures of the eclipse without putting a filter over your camera. (Since you only see a digital image on the screen, a camera phone should be safe to use without a filter. However, students don't always pay attention to explanations, so it is better to teach a blanket safety rule: don't look at the sun, in any way, without eye protection). That said, I don't see any technical difference between this filter and the filter in my eclipse glasses, so both are probably not necessary. The filter worked for my purposes.

I think the instructions are backwards. The mirrored side is to face the camera lens but confuses it. Reversing sides works better, but still it’s not something I would recommend. I think I got one somewhat decent photo halfway through the eclipse.
