Mode 1
1.The light off if no motion is detected

1. Dim light mode lasting almost all night, no motion activate.
2. Dusk to dawn - automatically turns on at sundown/night and off at sunrise/daytime.

1.The light will stay in dim light mode all night if no motion is detected
2. when motion was detected, strong light mode is instantly on
3.no motion is detected will turn to dim light mode.
Ease of installation
1.Turn on the button at the back of the solar lights to choose the lighting mode that you want. (Turn the OFF position to 1,2,3 Mode)
2.Fix the pillar hinge into the wall
3..Put screw through bracket, and twist into the pillar hinge.
4. We recommend place the solar motion lights somewhere where it is likely to receive direct sunlight when possible.

I saw these lights on one my neighbor's house. I had to have them. These lights require no batteries, which is a plus for me...one less thing to worry about! Installation was a breeze! Put the amount of light these things have is amazing! I put on near my back door so that me and guest can see my stairs clearly. And with winter coming i can tell if the steps are slippery or icy. I put one near my grassy area where my dog relieves herself. She is longer afraid to go outside, she doesn't like the dark so much. i put 3 along my driveway and one near my fence leading up to my garage. These work so well, i bought some for two of my sisters and a pair for one of my nieces. if i can give lights a 10, I would!

These solar flood lights are the real deal. Super bright. Easy to install. They work exactly as advertised. Highly recommended

Over the past few years, I have purchased several pairs of these solar-powered, motion-sensing, outdoor lights. I always choose Setting #3 which shows a dim (3%) outline of the border lights and then brightens to 100% when motion is detected. I don't think the brightness reaches 4K lumens but they are bright enough for my needs.I use these as security lights along my back alley, mounted above my 8' fence as shown in the photos. They don't last forever but the lifetime warranty is backed by the seller.

They may be a tad pricier than some others but the light up an area. If you have dark areas, These are great.

I purchased several pairs of these lights after reading the glowing reviews and especially sine they stated the lights were IP65 rated which means RAINPROOF. After the first pair, we really enjoyed the lights. Since they were helpful getting in and out of car at night and taking the dog out in the dark, we ordered more pairs until we had them on all sides of our house. These lights were carefully mounted and protected by the drip cap molding for additional protection from weather. After having the lights a little over a year, some stopped working. After getting on a ladder to inspect the lights, I saw discoloration and condensation appearing on the inside. Also the eye bubble on some of the lights was cracked or broken from weather? Now I have 8 non-working lights around the perimeter of my house. If I remove the non-working lights I will have holes in my aluminum trim.It appears that these lights were NOT IP65 rated for rain and the eye bubble material was not able hold up in the sun. Like others, we purchase a lot of items from AMAZON and are used to higher standards from them.Since I can find no way to contact the manufacturer about this problem, I can only give the lights 1 star.

Really liked this product in the beginning but they are not weather sealed and as moisture accumulates inside it eventually stops working. Had one which completely stopped working due to moisture. With this one posted it seems the LEDs are burning themselves out due to the moisture.In addition the dome for the motion sensor will crack after some time being exposed to the sun and become extremely brittle and fall apart.
