Bought one of these to keep a Sprinter van battery topped up when we are traveling in other vehicle. The Sprinter only takes 2-3 weeks to have difficulty firing up, so we stay on top of it and drive it regularly when we're around. The trickle charger was very easy to install with the O-Ring wiring, except for the ridiculous clamps used by M-B on the battery posts. Took me an hour to wrestle the things loose, then find a suitable replacement nuts. But that's not the fault of this product. On the plus side, because the battery on a Sprinter is under the driver's side floor mat INSIDE the vehicle, it's really convenient to use the O-Rings and leave the connector cable permanently installed.Overall the solar panel works great in the desert SW where we live. However, the product loses a point because the LEDs that indicate active charging (red) and full charge (green) are pretty much worthless. The red charging light comes on even when the unit isn't connected to anything, and the full charge never comes on at all, except sometimes when the unit isn't connected (same as red). I've basically just ignored them and trusted that as long as the unit is connected, there's charge going to the battery. Which ultimately is all I care about.I like it just enough that I ordered a second one to put on a Jeep we recently acquired.

I purchased this to install on my land Rover's roof rack to keep my battery tendered and charged up. I don't drive it everyday and not very often at all, so the battery will die unless I drive it more often. So I decided to try a solar panel and this works great. My battery was dead, it charged in the sun for about 7-8 hours the first day and it brought the battery up enough to fire the engine. The second day it was almost fully charged. Day 3 it was ready to go. So far it's only been installed for about a week and it's awesome. Great panel. I bought some brackets and bolts to install it to my roof rack, wasn't ideal because of the size of the panel and my roof racks bars don't like up very well in any position, but I got a few brackets and bolts and made it work.

I use this solar charger to keep my. RV. battery charged. I tried to start the battery after a few months, and the RV. started right away.

Received March 6, 2024. I have been using a number of different solar panels over the years, for my vehicles, motorhome & 5th wheel. I am impressed by the continual improvement in the quality of these panels and their accessories. The panel itself is very good quality and well finished. For the price I paid for this panel; the cables, charge controller and battery clips are all high standard. The cables are thick and not the usual cheap flimsy ones you receive at this price point. I am using it to keep my minivan battery fully charged (as it is winter). It took just 10 minutes to set up (including attaching the useful stand). I put it on the roof of my van facing the sun and saw an immediate increase in the battery voltage. So far, I am giving it 5 stars. I will do an update next month on its performance. Hope that helps others. Thank you, seller. 6-month Update: The solar panel has continued to perform well; I am very pleased with this purchase.
