This is the ONLY Device I found which uses Sound and Light to scare animals away (Ultrasonic devices DO NOT work!). It has Solar to recharge the lithium batteries but, if used inside, has a USB 'C' cord plus batteries last 200 days in Standby. The provided Remote controls the Host Unit from well over the 32 feet specified as I tested 100-110 feet away. The Host Infrared motion sensors, sitting 6" above grade, activated motion 27 feet away at 39F (consistent with the 17-26 feet specified). Working Temperature Range is specified as -50F t0 122F with motion distance lowered in warmer daytime temperatures. If you want greater coverage, get multiple units as, instead of using multiple Remotes, you can program one Remote to control all Host units if desired.The 13 prerecorded Sounds are loud but if you desire your own sound or message, you can record 20 seconds of your own. Whenever you activate 24 hr. Day or 12 hr. Night sound/light, the Sound WILL play four (4) times while activating the three motion sensors BUT you can power off with Remote Control or Host unit control button. (I used the "Song" sound when testing so as not to alarm the Neighbors.) NOTE: If you shut the Host unit off, by pressing the Host control button 3 times, you CANNOT activate the Host with the Remote-Control unit. If you shut the Host unit off using the "D" button on the Remote, the Host can be turned back on to 24 hr. Day, 12 hr. Night or the Sound changed via the Remote Controller. So, you must first turn Host on before using Remote.

This is a fun little device that will startle trespassers but probably not scare them away. Once the motion sensors are triggered, lights on the unit flash giving off a red color. In addition to the lights there is either a loud siren (best) or recorded alerts. One alert is a voice yelling with gunshots in the background. Others are a pig squealing, an eagle screeching, etc. You can program your four favorites and adjust them using an included remote control. They do trigger well.Actually, I think it also says you can record your own message too. Sounds of Sasquatch?They also sell these with a yellow/amber body instead of red. Both are fun.

Nice product! Bright and loud. The only thing is I would of liked it to be silent and just the strobe light. It doesn't allow you that option. But all and all it's a decent product. Sincerely Douglas

Works as advertised. The only problem I found is that it is easy to forget that it looks 360º. Best to have the remote with you. It is so easy to intrude into the area it is searching. I am using the sensor to sound when another boat gets too close to my docked boat. Boats passing too close tend to rock my boat, which is annoying when I am working on the boat. After I set up the sensor and walk away, when I come back if I don't have the remote in my hand it sounds the alarm until I can shut it off.

I am not highly impressed with the range but they were open about that in the description. I put this in the herb gardens to keep out rabbits. 360 degrees of motion sensing is a bonus for this purpose.I like the variety of alarm sounds so I can keep changing it out from time to time so animals do not get used to it.It is not mega loud but the shock and surprise aspect is what does the job on this.Remote control works fine.

I wouldn’t suggest purchasing this product. For one the distance that it picks up of motion is very short and second it stopped working all together after about three weeks.

Ideal where noise doesn’t affect a close neighbour - originally had one and now use 6 in front and back yards over 3 acres - no fresh activity in lawn or holes under sheds - have set for night activity - would caution against using in a populated neighbourhood or when expecting late Amazon deliveries as not sure how delivery guy reacted when he activated the gun shot setting during a late delivery LOL
