yes, gold plated.actually you don't have much choice. all non-gold plated proto board are plated with leaded tin, if they don't specify and it isn't made in EU.

The holes are plated through and the board appears to be fiberglass. They stand up well to soldering and you can remove components and resolder the same holes without damaging the board. Best small boards I've run across.

I wish these were a little less expensive but they are of high quality.

As far as PCB go, they work as expected. However, I do find it very frustrating that there are no grid Letter and Numbers on the back, so if you want to solder a wire on the back from say row 5 to 15, you have to constantly flip it over to make sure you have it right.
