This grow light is perfects for seed starting! I use soil blocks with 20 3/4" squares per tray). I also put a heat pad under the trays -- between the two items, seeds sprout quickly. It doesn't take up much room on the counter and is easy to use. I found it a 'snap' to put together. It is getting ready to start its second year. not much electricity required.

The light is advertised as full spectrum, but isn't as bright white as I expected. I suppose I have to wait and see how the seedlings react before I form an opinion on its effectiveness. The stand is basic but easy to put together and sturdy.

The size and ease of assembly was great for a beginner gardener working out of her kitchen (like me). I like that it is lightweight and simple. Now, if it only came with a flashing red light stopping me from starting my seeds too early.

I liked the stand and how it quickly sets up and breaks down. It was great for seed starting and I especially liked the way that you can adjust the height of the light over the plants.Bummer that I moved the light to a dedicated seed starting shelf and when I plugged it in the light immediately burned out :(

I decided on a whim to see if I could grow some seeds from apples we picked this fall into plants. After using a smaller seed starter tray, I transferred them to small pots and ordered this light, then set the whole thing up on a table. They did great! When they outgrew those pots, I re-planted them in larger pots and put them in a sunny window. I immediately noticed they weren’t doing as well without the artificial light too, so I set up a couple of tripods and used the included PVC pipes to mount the light that way. The plants are once again flourishing! I’ll keep using this light until they’re ready to be planted outside in the spring.

It looks cheap and not very sturdy for where I wanna put it. It looked awful there. I can’t even return it cause I can’t even get it apart all the way so I guess I have to keep it. I wouldn’t recommend buying it unless you’re putting it out-of-the-way but even then it doesn’t seem sturdy
