works well, but it does sink. I cut a cheap noodle and wrapped it around the handle, secured with zip ties. now it floats! Great paddle and unbeatable price.

Purchased to replace shorter fixed length paddle that came with Vilano iSUP. The good...paddle seems sturdy, well built. The adjustable mechanism is simple and effective, just loosen, lengthen, tighten. And the paddle floats-but just barely. The less good...the paddle is heavy. and it barely floats. If it went down in surf I am not sure it would return. I put a childs arm floaty on the paddle. It fits snug, added negligible weight, and now it floats well. Overall good value on sturdy paddle for beginner or surf paddler.

I think this paddle is an excellent tool for my Paddle board. Here is the thing though DON'T DROP IN THE WATER! I did this already and it sunk like a rock....The reason I like this paddle in terms of function is that its heavy, adjustable, and breaks down into three parts. It also has no issues with saltwater corrosion. I happen to like a heavier paddle, as I found fiberglass and carbon fiber to be too light. I think this will be a personal preference for most, but if you like the heavier feel you will like this.

Perfect replacement paddle! It comes apart into three pieces that easily fit in my bag that came with my inflatable paddle board. The grip feels nice in your hand and it is a great range for extending or shrinking the length. For the price it is the perfect replacement paddle.

there is no click-in feature securing the length you choose. it twists to tighten... so... you have to hold the push handle in perfect position of your chosen length while twisting the pole tight and... meh.. inevitably the hand hold push part will be off of alignment from the paddle in the water ... crummy design.

We got this paddle for our new paddleboard because it was adjustable. It was easy to put together and easy to adjust. The first thing we did was make sure it floats since some of the paddles we were looking at had reviews they did not float-this one did! We all used it and it worked fine! I'm sure the much more expensive paddles are bent more ergonomically but we are not pros and we thought it was great!

A little heavier than I thought, but still good paddling. Easily changing height with multiple users.
