Was a little apprehensive base don some of the reviews saying it dod not darker sufficiently, but i have been pleasantly surprised. Fits my RF 1400 well, and darkens enough to take the glare out of the sun. When i take it off my eyes have to adjust to the brightness. SO happy I bought this instead of the $200 Shoei model.

Fit is almost as good as stock. There is a hair more wind noise but it’s not a make or break difference. It fits beautifully, didn’t have to fight it. I got the darkest one and even at night it’s usable. Not recommended to ride at night with a tinted visor.

It installed on to my Shoei RF 1400 great! A standard name brand pin lock does not fit, something to keep in mind. My shield seals down and clicks in to place very snug, no issues there. I really love the reflective color. Your face is not totally concealed from view depending on the angle, but I don’t mind that. I DO want to say that this shield scratches easy. Be careful what clothe you use to wipe the bugs off!

Great price for the quality. It's definitely worth it.The transition is seamless with the photochromic visor.Easy to install and works great with the Shoei RF1400.I've had this visor over 2 months now and doesn't disappoint.It's clear in the early mornings / overcast, but nice and dark when it is bright / sunny out.I also purchased the Soman universal anti-fog Film and that also does its job with the visor. No lense fogging!The film is installed with an adhesive but didn't bother me since this wasn't a Shoei brand visor.You can see that in the pic.Will look for Soman brand again when I purchase a different helmet.

I use it everyday day and blocks the sun just right! Can’t really see into my helmet which I love, and the quality is great! It functions with the helmet well just like the oem shield.

Looks darker. Still able to see in an overcast/cloudy day. Hard to close at first but got better as I use it more. I may need to attach a pinlock insert. It fogged up faster than the stock visor. Overall satisfied.

unfortunately, I didn't try to put this on my helmet to check how it fits or closed because as soon as I tested looking through it, I knew it wouldn't work. the tinting for this visor is not dark gray (as pictured in the product details) and is actually an orange shade despite being the blue mirror. if you've ever worn a pair of orange tinted ski goggles, you'll know that wearing them actually makes things brighter. Similar to yellow tinted night driving glasses. that's exactly how I felt when looking through this visor. it's very pretty, and the blue mirror appears flawless. for me, the tinting is just the wrong color and doesn't appear to provide any reduction in incoming light.

Adjusted the visor bolts and it fits my x-15 fine close and opens with no issues. Need to take it for a spin to see how the wind noise is

I think it could have been a clear shield and mistakenly was labeled as a blue mirrored shield.It’s too bad. The quality of the shield looked great, just there was zero “blueish mirror” to it.It was a clear shield, I think.

Mサイズに取り付けましたが、純正品よりやや大きいようで、上部に若干のすき間(浮き)が見受けられました。また、サイズが合わないせいか開閉動作も固く扱いづらいです。走行はしていないため実際の使用感は不明ですが、雨水の侵入につながったら嫌なので返品させていただきました。
