This box is nice quality and very easy to put together. I like that you can take out a devider to fit larger ornaments. No more wrapping my ornaments in tissue paper each year to find the paper is smelly the next year. This box is nice and big and sturdy so it can stand alone when you put it away in your storage space.

First off this item is well made and I would love it if my ornaments were SMALLER than 3". If you have any kind of a finish on your ornaments...like glitter, raised decorations, or any hand painted 3" balls .... these dividers will damage the finish. The dividers are 3" square, so it is a tight squeeze. My current 3" ornament storage that I bought last year (different brand) has squares that measure 3.15" so you can actually get them in and out without rubbing all the finish off - or popping off the ornament hanger because the squares are so tight. So if you have the cheap shatterproof smooth finish ornaments this storage item will be totally fine.Next... having the side open is amazing and makes it so much easier to get to your ornaments. Just know that as other reviewers have said, there is Absolutely NO WAY you can slide out the individual compartments as shown in the photo. The boxes sit right on top of each other and the material that the "drawers" are made of creates too much friction for them to move. Also, there is nothing to support the top tier from falling as soon as the one underneath it moves. That said, just having the side open alone makes it so much easier to take them in and out of the box itself, and in my opinion makes this a great choice. It just doesn't work for the 3" ornaments that I have. And I checked and my ornaments are not larger than 3". It's perfectly sized for a 2.78" ornament or less. Hope this helps you decide.What else I like, is that some storage containers only have plain cardboard as the base stabilizer inside each of the sections but SONGMICS wraps the cardboard in the same material that the rest of it is made from so it's both sturdier and more attractive. I would have given this 5 stars if was actually made for 3" ornaments

The trays have sides on them, unlike my old storage system which didn't, so you can easily take each tray out to see them all at once. It's a nice, compact unit that stores a lot of ornaments

I was able to reduce from 2 boxes of ornaments to just this one. It holds 128 ornaments & the drawers are easier to put everything away for the season. The adjustable draws work for longer ornaments too. Would definitely purchase again.
