I'm using the Songmics 15" ottoman/storage to replace my poof foot rest. Very sturdy, easy assembly & very comfortable as a foot rest. The ottoman is very attractive~I picked the camel brown & it is gorgeous. Matches any color scheme. It is also easy to keep clean, better than my old material foot rest! Storage is an extra. I have also turned the lid over & used as a mini table for my drink/items I use during the day. Another added bonus! I added furniture sliders to the bottom. I highly recommend

I ordered 5 of them to use for our ottomans in the living room. We have used them daily for a week. Very compact, comfortable, and sturdy. Well worth the price and assembly is less than a minute.

I just received my black SONGMICS Cube Shaped Storage Ottoman. I'm very impressed! It arrived in a flatbox, but quickly folds out to a cube. Next, you insert the bottom square into the cube. The bottom immediately stabilizes it. The lid then goes on top. Considering the price, the lid looks excellent...not cheap or junky in the least. I did not detect the common strong chemical smell of some new products, but the instructions say to keep it open for 2 to 3 days to air it out so there's no scent at all. It doesn't seem necessary, but I'm doing it just to be safe.This cube is a wonderful upgrade from the makeshift stack of heavy shoebox-sized photo boxes I had been using by my couch to hold my TV remotes. This cube, unlike my photoboxes, would be a great foot rest. And unlike my shoeboxes, I can put a tray of food and drink on top of the cube with no worries of it tipping or sliding. It is also very strong and can take a more than two hundred pound person. Good to note that the instructions caution you not to drop down forcefully on it. I would say this normally only comes into play if you have children, especially teen boys. I also cannot say how the faux leather on top would stand up to cat or dog scratching, but that's more than any piece of "furniture" should be expected to survive.I don't immediately know what I will put inside the cube for storage, but I'm thrilled to have one more place to stash afghans or boxes of candles.Great product. Very well built and very well finished. I'm so happy with it!I highly recommend this product. Though I cannot say how long it will last, my first experience makes me expect I will have it a long time.

I love that this ottoman can be folded flat to fit inside the lid. I also like that it’s lightweight and easy to move for vacuuming underneath.The ottoman is sturdy enough for extra seating as well as putting up my feet while sitting on my sofa. Good value for the price.There’s enough storage space for a small furniture throw or a small sofa pillow. The foldable design probably doesn’t lend itself to storage of heavier or bulky items.The 15-inch height is perfect for my sofa and upholstered chair. Ideally, I’d prefer a slightly longer and wider cube, and some furniture sliders on the bottom side of ottoman. That would make it a 5-star vs. a 4-sar rating.

This little ottoman is very versatile and can be used as a footrest, seat, step stool, hideaway or even a table. The top is cushioned with about an inch or so of foam and is covered with a tight faux leather made of PVC resin...comfy enough for your feet but sturdy enough to set a drink on it. This cube looks great and is very sturdy. Even though it folds up flat, it can handle a lot of weight (my hubby sat on it with no problems).I bought this for my daughter to take to COLLEGE with her and it ended up being a GREAT BUY. Although we bought this for extra seating and storage, it has really come in handy as a step stool for my 5'1" daughter. She uses it to reach the top of her closet and to give her a step up and into her dorm bed which is pretty high off the ground.The inside dimensions are 13.5 x 13.5 x 13.3'' The dimensions of the cushioned top is about 14.8" x 14.8" and it weighs about 6.5 lbs. The base folds up and stores in the top for about a 2" deep 14.8" square, so packing it up to bring home from college is easy and doesn't require much storage space.I liked it so much I got one for our home too!! (I use it as an ottoman and to hide my crocheting.)

Like the longer-shaped version, this smaller, square-format Ottoman cube is a terrific bargain and a truly functional device. It comes beautifully packaged in a cellophane wrapped tightly packed in a custom shipping box. Great both for initial shipment but also for later moves, the cube flattens down to a tight little shape that is very easy to move (be sure to keep the original shipping box when you order it!). The box is not only functional, but looks fantastic, looks like real leather, and supports an amazing amount of sitting weight that seems impossible when you first see it. Assembly takes literally less than one minute after it is removed from the shipping box. You simply unflex the slides, place the flat, inner bottom square piece at the bottom, and then pop on the top lid. That's it! Two inset hand holes on two sides make moving the box very handy. This box looks good at both at home and at the office. I can't recommend it more highly. So much so that we have three of them in our family!
