I bought 36 of these to deaden my small home studio - not enough to fully cover the walls but at least they cut down on all the echo. The adhesive is very effective - I followed the instructions and gave each one a thorough push against the wall and not one has come loose.Problem is, I didn't do enough research and was not aware of sound absorbing blankets. I just got six and hung them around my space and they are great, especially combined with the foam pads that are still up.If you decide to go the foam pad route, I cannot recommend highly enough that you first lay out a barrier of blue painter's tape on the surface you plan to stick the pad to, and then stick the pad to the blue painter tape. It'll take you about 5 minutes time per pad, if that, to cut off the tape and stick it to the surface, but you will save yourself so much time, mess and effort in the event you decide you want to move or remove the pads.I now know from experience what an utter pain it is to remove these and then remove the chunks of foam and adhesive that remains (mineral spirits or denatured alcohol work well, but what a mess!).So in summary, the pads absorb sound pretty well and the adhesive is great - perhaps too great in the event you find you want to move the pads. For my part, tho, sound absorbing blankets would have been the better choice.

I saw a lot of reviews saying that theirs came damaged. Mine came flat as well, they’re not damaged all you need to do is run your nail, coin, ruler, something hard over them and they pop right back up. Shame people leave bad reviews without trying to fix them :/ as far as quality they do a decent/good job. you’ll need a lot more if you want a huge difference in sound reduction. I used these to keep the sound in because my buildings walls are thin and they definitely work. worried about removal though because they super stuck to the wall.

Soundproofing ok, but the self-adhesive isn't very good. Mine starting falling off in about a week. I tried using double face tape to fix them, but the tape didn't stick to the tile for more than an hour or two. I finally stajpled them to the door.

In general these got the job done even though they were not as dense as I hoped for, but like other reviews several panels had flattened pyramids even after letting them expand

In the past I've mostly stuck, no pun intended, to typical mounting squares from your everyday and obvious brands. While they definitely "work", they often have to be replaced every so often. Oh and when that needs to happen they rip off everything about the wall.Thankfully with these so far, I'm incredibly satisfied. The adhesive seems stronger than my typical purchases, but I also wanted to test removing them after a few months from the wall to see what would happen. Thankfully, no paint ripped and wall completely in tact. It did take a little bit to slowly work the pad off the wall, but if that little extra effort means not needing to spackle and repaint, I'm all for it.Definitely satisfied.

I bought these explicitly because they show 3M adhesive backings in their ad. The adhesive on this product is NOT a 3M adhesive. It is barely sticky, it won't even grab paper. These are also listed as 2 inches deep. They barely crest 1.5 inches. Total garbage. Fortunately with Prime I don't have to deal with trying to repack this. See photos.

These acoustic sound absorbing panels look just as good in person as they did online! I was afraid to get them and find they were thin, light and foamy. But these are nice and dense and the pyramids give it an extremely cool, professional look!I did have a couple issues that I contacted customer support about. First, I was impressed that they clearly display their email address on a flyer in the package to insure the customer can count on support if they need it. Within just a few hours of emailing them, they got back to me with a solution and happily made it right! Next time I need more, I won't even bother shopping around, I'm so pleased with this product and customer support! The tiles stick great to the wall, but can also be removed without any damage to the foam or the wall. Even though these are peel and stick, they also come with adhesive squares if you need them. So far I have not needed them. Some of these panels fit near perfect into my desk wall shelving, so I just pushed them back in each one and they are snug enough where I didn't need to peel and stick them. But I also have some installed on the wall, and those are holding very well. This room was a bedroom with a twin bed, plus a home office. But I decided to make it just an office space with another desk and computer, so I moved out the bed. I couldn't believe the sound difference. Without the bed, everything was echoing, loud and just made the office have a "cold" like environment. Even just typing bothered me because it just sounded too loud. I didn't even like talking in here. It's amazing how just by hanging some panels on the wall changes the whole environment into a room you enjoy being in.If you've never tried sound panels, the price is worth it, especially considering how much it can improve the comfort level of a room. They are not just for professionals or sound studios. They would also be great for a kids bedroom, and you might find you won't have to turn up the living room TV so loud anymore ;)
