I had seen good reviews of this soundbar and decided to take the plunge. I have an older Samsung HU9000 curved 4k TV in my living room that only has ARC, not eARC, but it works fine. The Sonos sound is really, really good. The bass response is ridiculously good for a unit this size. Movies and TV sound great, but I was missing Atmos. A new device was just released by CableMatters that allows me to plug my Apple TV into the Sonos. And wow, I mean wow, the Atmos effects are spectacular. I have a Nakamichi Dragon in my home theater which totally blows this away in terms of power, authority, and transparency (not really fair because I don't have the full Sonos setup), but the Atmos effects are surprisingly even better than the Dragon, and the Dragon is amazing. I would say that Sonos totally owns the spatial department, especially with just a minimum setup like I have for my living room.As far as sound I would compare it to a Bose system because it sets up its EQ and surround volumes as a plug and play setup with the app, which is awesome. It has its own warm, rich sound that reminds me of the Bose. It has a really well-tuned and pleasing sound for all types of media. The only drawback is that it does not support DTS-HD Master Audio or DTS:X which I consider the gold standard when it comes to watching movies. Almost all the studios seem to be going to Atmos anyway (sad face) so it won't matter anyway for the future. Also, not having at least one additional HDMI input port was a bad decision on somebody's part.Overall I love this soundbar and if I ever want to expand I have the option to add subs and rear speakers in the future. But honestly, the sound is so good with just the bar that I really have no need to do that. This is a real steal for this price point.

This was super easy to set up, and getting connected to the TV was a breeze!! . Let’s talk about the sound quality!! So AMAZING!! I got this as a gift for the hubs and he loves it.. I love the look of it and we choose not to mount it. Might be pricey for some but we keep things for along time. Our other sound bar we had for 14 years.

Best soundbar I’ve ever owned. Perfect size for above my fireplace in my living room, still gotta figure out my cable routing. But it’s a simple set up with only 2 cables. Looks clean, and sounds clear, with rich bass and smooth mids.

I had a Klipsch soundbar for like 10 years and I was never happy with it. I never could hear the dialogue unless I turned it up. The Arc Ultra was an incredible upgrade. They have "speech enhancement" with 3 different levels that is a game changer. Now I can set it at a comfortable level and everything is more natural sounding. It is pricey, but I wanted something that I would be happy with. Highly recommended.

I had high expectations for the Sonos Arc Ultra, but unfortunately, it has been a disappointment. The sound quality is poor—lacking depth and clarity, especially for a product in this price range. For the cost, I expected a premium audio experience, but instead, I got underwhelming performance that doesn’t justify the hefty price tag.The only thing I did like was the easy setup and seamless connectivity with Alexa, but that’s hardly enough to make up for the subpar audio. If you're looking for great sound, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. Definitely not worth the investment.

I decided to “upgrade†my 30 year old tower speakers with the latest in acoustic technology. If you want better sound than your TV speakers, this is a huge upgrade, but if you really care about sound quality and volume, you’re much better off with real speakers. All the technology and acoustic snake oil cannot surpass the physical presence of actual speakers. Even used tower or bookshelf speakers and a used receiver from your local marketplace will blow the Sonos out of the water and at a fraction of the price. Soundbars win in ease of use and a minimalist appearance, but if you want the best sound, especially for music and film, then you’re better off with bookshelf or tower speakers.

Researched a lot before purchasing the Sonos Arc Ultra and almost bought the Samsung Q990d (11.1.4), but decided to check the look and feel at a store. While great value for money ( surround speakers and subwoofer included in the price), the Q990 D looked a bit bulky as compared to the sleek Sonos. If the preference is to have a standalone soundbar (without sub or surround speakers), the Sonos wins that contest in my opinion. Outside of a few minor issues during setup (entered an incorrect wifi password and had to reset the Sonos; had to make some some adjustments to the wallmount ), everything else was smooth.

Migré de una Sonos Beam 2 a Esta Arc Ultra y la diferencia es monstruosa. Es Muy Notorio el cambio; hay muchos más bajos y muchÃsima mejor separación del sonido, sobre todo al reproducir contenido en Dolby Atmos. En Particular la tengo integrada con un Sub Mini y un Par de Era 300 como Surrounds en una sala de aproximadamente 40m2. La Beam 2 la pasé a mi recámara de unos 20m2 y la combiné con dos PLAY 1 Viejitos como Surrounds con excelentes resultados.
