Dropped my Sony a6000 and lense would not focus/ attach. This replacement lense works perfect with no problems and was the most affordable option I could find. Great quality and value . Image is clear , zoom works as expected. No issues & would recommend.

I bought an A6400 body from the local big box electronic shop because I had an A6000 with other Sony Lenses. While the A6000 was silver, the OEM lens was also silver, and didn't match my black A6400.I purchased the Sony SELP1650 16-50mm OSS Lens: Sony E PZ 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS Lens (Black) online separately because this was going to be a better value purchasing separate than the bundle offered at the big box electronic store.This version is no different than the OEM, and came in the actual lens box. I thought it would be bulk packed like some other lenses I've purchased. It works well for the basic compact lens, and even though the widest aperture is only 3.5 at 16mm, it fits the bill for most basic casual shooting. It also travels well because it's not so long too!

Ordered this to replace the one I've been using since I this 16-50mm came out. (scratched the lens). Wonderful little lens for landscapes and typical family photos. EXCELLENT glass, and very lightweight and compact..could put the A6700 in my sling purse to carry without a problem.

Packaged with bubble wrap in a box way too big for it. Missing rear cap. Checking to see if lens is even functional or damaged because it hasn’t had a rear cap in transit and who knows how long it’s been without. As a photographer I’m disappointed that this lens was not cared for.

Like most people say, the lens does NOT come with the emount cover, it just comes bubble wrapped in non-official packaging. Annoying mostly because I was able to use a cover from another lens on it whenever I take it off, but all you can do is request to return it, they won't send you the cover separately.I like the lens for vlogging -- it goes wide without creating too much of a fish eye and can zoom in quite a bit for being so small and portable, which is really what I enjoy. Most zoom lenses are just way too big. It does make a loud noise when zooming in and out, just so you know!!

I like this little lens. It's compact, sturdy and lives up to its billing. The autofocus is above average. Clarity and color rendition are good and I do like the ease of manual focus. I will keep this lens to use when I want a small camera footprint. Also, I've used the image stabilization lightly and it worked...I have not tried it with serious movement. IMHO, it's a good value and I do recommend it for what it offers.

About 3 years ago I purchased the Sony A6000 camera kit that included this lens. Within the last year that lens was loosing communication with the camera body. Researching the fault, I discovered that the fault seems to be a common fault. Because it was more than a year after purchase (Out of Warranty), Sony wouldn't offer any help other than have it repaired at a Sony repair center at a cost around $160. I contacted the seller here with a couple questions, as a result I purchased this lens. So far the lens is working perfectly. Only time will tell if this lens will exhibit the same issue down the road. I like the lens a lot for indoor photos dealing with family functions and alike. I have had good luck with outdoor photos as well. I have seen some negative reviews about this lens, but I can't confirm the issue of the reviewers. Remember that this isn't a high end equivalent lens costing 7 times the price. It is a good all around lens for everyday photos. Oh yes.... It doesn't have the one year Sony Warranty but the seller sells it with their one year warranty.

Lo adquirà para reemplazar el lente que originalmente viene con el bundle de mi A6500 ya que sufrió un accidente y quedó inservible, aquà fue el lugar en donde lo encontré más barato, original y nuevo que en cualquier otro sitio o comercio, con una diferencia de entre 2 y 3 mil pesos. Funciona perfecto, incluso creo que hace menos ruido que el que tenÃa, quizá por el uso, no es reconstruido (refurbished o renewed) pero si viene en una caja blanca protegido con plástico de burbujas, no esperes la tÃpica caja naranja o blanca con logos de SONY, el bundle kit que supuestamente incluye no es más que el paño de microfibra que se muestra en las imágenes, en cuanto a las tapas del lente, la frontal es original, la segunda es genérica, no dice SONY, para mi no fue ningún problema pero es bueno compartirlo en caso de que alguien lo considere importante.

Lente kit básico. Cuando compré mi cámara, una a6500, no lo compré con este lente, pero es bastante versátil y el motor de zoom es bastante cómodo. La construcción y materiales del lente se sienten de buena calidad; eso sÃ, no viene en una caja de la marca. Llevo un mes y medio con él y todo excelente con el lente.
