These fit wide mouth jars perfectly. I love that they’re one piece, dishwasher safe, easy to use, work well, and cute. They’re made for pickling, so with enough internal pressure, gasses can escape from the little flaps at the top. You could probably fit a straw through the opening too.I use these as a plastic free storage solution and mainly have fruits or leftovers and the seal is enough that nothing dries out in the fridge.

I like the design and value of the lids. Work great for making my Ginger Bug. Seems durable and fits the jars nicely.

These fit perfectly, but the lid will pop-up instead of venting via the little x in the center. They also hold the scent of the ferment, even after washing and sanitizing. I will not buy silicon lids again. These might be nice for dry goods you get into frequently, if they weren’t so stinky from the ferments. I do like the ease of putting them on and removing them.

I had these for a batch of fermented ginger-lemon honey, and they performed well. The ease of access is an advantage over the fermenting lids that require bands. The disadvantage (with most any fermenting lid) is the possibility of leakage if it gets knocked over.

I lacto-ferment cabbage at least once every other week. I love these because they fit my existing mason jars and can continue to be used as a lid until I am ready to ferment up more saurkraut; did I mention that they're also super easy to clean and durable? My ferments have come out perfect every time I use them, you get a better seal than using the finger-tight method, and adequate venting only when needed; I love these lids.

I like that they fit in the jar opening and don't need to be screwed on/off. Just press the top to vent. Easy. So far, so good!

We even leave the lids on the jars when it’s time to transfer them temporarily to the fridge. As for burping goes goes “Oops excuse me” their perfect.

Bought these as they were one of the ones recommended by a fermenting pro as being safe and easy to use. Make sure you read the instructions on the box for using them though. I automatically assumed that they 'auto-vent' when the pressure builds up. Discovered one morning that the kimchi I had fermenting had lifted the lid and there was kimchi juice all over the table. Must have been quite a show! THEN I read the box and realized that you are supposed to press down on the middle of the lid once the fermenting starts once or twice a day (or whenever you see it starting to bulge) and THAT is what releases the gases. Lesson learned. But sure proved to me that these lids seal on the jars pretty darn well! Very happy with them.

These tops are a very clever design. I would have loved to be able to use them for my Super Gut yogurt fermentation.I have a lot of silicon products in my kitchen. None of them have an odour, however these tops have a strong smell which makes me question what material they are made of, and are they food safe.I will be returning them, sadly.
