Don't get me wrong, listening to a third grader learn recorder is a torture I wouldn't wish on anyone. But this was a well priced, German-style recorder in a fun color that my kiddo loves.

I purchased several of these for Operation Christmas child. I used to have one myself. Firm belief if you are going to do something do it right .They are good quality, highly durable. This particular brand is in decent tune.

It's great! I needed it for my daughter's music class, and it works just fine. Every now and then, it's makes the wrong sound, or a sqeak, but I don't mind it. Out of 5, I would rate it a 4 out of 5

I used this recorder for an adult music class. It was the perfect size for my small adult hands. It was easy to put together as well. If you are using this for a class but not in a professional sense, then this should work great for you.

It is compatible to a Yamaha. The weigh quality is similar and they sound similar. She loves the color. Love that it comes with cleaning stick and cloth.
