I went from my setup being on carpet to hardwoods. I realized I needed some sort of isolation to help with the movements on the floor. I didn’t want to spend very much on a platform due to me wanting to upgrade my player before long so after reading some reviews I ordered these. It went from skipping with walking near the setup to now not skipping at all! That’s including dancing around in the area. I tried newly pressed records as well as old, used ones. Affordable and great fix!

These isolation devices are well made and offer a reasonable level of isolation. They should be considered for use under equipment where isolation is desired, such as under amplifiers or cd/dvd players where acoustic feedback might be harmful. They are quite sturdy and should have no problem with even heavy components up to perhaps 40-50 lbs. I do not believe they would offer significant protection under a turntable sitting on a spongy floor. But used with common sense these are quite good and a long over due and welcomed accessory.

The blocks are under my bookshelf and center channel and stuff is not vibrating on the table even when increasing the volume and more base is coming through the speakers - satisfied for what they are doing

I use these on my desktop system. I employed these to elevate a glass shelf and remove vibration from it. These are a good value for the cost. The ridged surface ensures a good crip.

Bought these for my turntable (duh), I just moved to a house without carpets. It's all wooden floors and my turntable wasn't having it. I grabbed these hoping it would help and they did a bit however not all that much.I ended up taking note of another reviewer's tip and cut up some dish sponge and placed it under each of these cork pads and now my turntable 100% has zero issues. I grabbed a 2 pack of sponges at Dollar Tree (midwest dollar store) and spray painted them mahogany brown and once they dried, tossed them under and now my turntable is golden.I'm not entirely sure how much these cork legs actually help but combined with the sponge they do wonders so I'm leaving the set as is. If I had it to do over again, I would likely try the sponges alone first and purchase something like this if that didn't resolve my issue.This is not a glowing review and I'm sure they have a place for someone somewhere but for me they weren't great without some external assistance but I"m gonna keep them now.

Sound oscilation and HUMMING at high volume was a big problem for my setup. Putting foam isolators under my speakers helped, still not perfect. Thats when I looked into getting isolators for my turntables. THESE DID THE TRICK! HUMMING AT HIGH VOLUMES ELIMINATED! Cheers!
