After searching options for too long, we chose this because it could be set up for almost 8 inches high, way higher than others. That height is critical when opening the screen because it is much closer to proper ergonomic eye height. It saves your neck over time.The sturdiness is important. After setting it up, we didn't want it to shake or slowly slide down. It is a rock.With mid-size and larger laptops, the base needs to hold it securely. This one has its arms spaced very well to keep 14"-17" screen laptops safely cradled.Check where the vents are on your laptop. No not cover them with your stand. This stand props the laptop up above the stand so that vents can have complete airflow. The laptop is even happier than if it was on a flat surface. It will prevent over-heating, keep performance up and make the computer last longer.This $25 solution was priced competitively also. It's got great shape and tons of options for whatever height you prefer your laptop, but my only issue is that the laptop kind of shakes/bounces a lot on your desk when you're typing/writing. It could also be because I have my monitors on an upper level on my desk, so perhaps it's better if you have it on the same surface you're typing/writing on.

I needed to raise my laptop to prevent continued "tech neck." I looked at all Amazon had to offer and this seemed to me the best choice. When it arrived I was very pleased to find the unit simple in design, easy to assemble, study and most importantly, very stable. While the unit has served the primary goal of raising the line of sight, it had the extra added benefit from saving me from a moment of clumsiness when I spilled a full glass of water. What previously would have had the potential for a major and costly disaster resulted in basically a cleaner desk then I started with. The elevated laptop never saw a drop of liquid even thought the spill quickly spread to the same area.

I love this. It's very space saving and holds my work laptop which is pretty heavy. It took me about 10 minutes to put together. It comes with the screws and other tools to do this. It does have a Knox in the back that makes the height rise and fall. Saved me from straining my eyes and neck!

This laptop stand is a neck/life-saver! I opened the box and found the instructions very easy to follow and i was able to assemble it in 10 minutes. The material feels sturdy and reliable. The prongs hold my M1 Macbook pro 14 inch without an issue (my laptop also has a plastic shell and it still has room). The height is easily adjustable with the knob at the back, which many other stands don't have. I am super happy with this stand so far! Even though it's my first day with it, I can already feel my ergonomics change. I was previously looking down at the screen for hours a day, but now I am able to see my screen at eye level with the help of this stand. I can also put a keyboard right below it. Definitely worth trying out if you work from home!

Dobra wysokość i jakość wykonania. Zależało mi aby nie opadał ponieważ poprzednie na śrubach obniżaly się same. Tutaj mamy nawet możliwośc położyć ciężki komputer i jest stabilnie.
