I play a Yamaha 411 Sousaphone..this type of neck has the perfect "bend" I need to hold my horn the way I want to hold my horn.. The design seem to add extra support..BUT..It had a small dent in it when it arrived...I needed it so I kept it..Thinking it would have received a dent sometime down the road anyway..BUT a dent that is noticeable..on something new..isn't right..Mave
