This takes care of the little things when fishing: clipping line, clearing eyes of hooks for line to pass through the eyelet, etc. Smaller than the competition and perfect to suspend from a lanyard.

I had one like this but it fell apart after a year of use. This one feels better built, time will tell. I use it every time I fish.

Not a great line clipper but jig buster is useful. File is useless.

This is a great little tool with multiple uses, the clippers cut mono with ease, its a little challenging to cut braid but that's what braid cutters are for. I really like the picks on the tool, they work awesome for poking out jig eyes,and fixing backlash. The bottom of the clipper has a file on it that works well for hook sharpening or nail filing. this clipper comes with a convenient lanyard that you can loop on you tackle box or hang on your neck, to keep you from losing them.

1st one broke when I used it, but Amazon overnighted a replacement that seems fine. The knife that flips out is dull and not very useful, but i do like the rest of the flip out accessories, oops, spoke too soon. 2nd one is falling apartafter a few uses. Poorly made, avoid this product. Amazon says i can no longer get my money back, too bad, so sad I guess.
