Very simple design that has been available for many decades. Perfect fit for Sunfrost refrigerator door that is thirty years old.

My 2017 Class C motorhome had a few drawers that would open on sharp turns. I asked the dealer to fix the problem, but I saw no change. I got a test device (Rapala Mechanical Tube Scale (15-Pounds) at Amazon) and tested the pull of each drawer. Five of the six drawers required 7 - 8 pounds to open them which is about the force for the C3-805. The sixth required 12 pounds which is the force of the C3-810. I bought five of these and installed them an now all drawers require 11 - 12.5 pounds to open. I couldn't be happier.Pros - Stronger force to open and the catch is exactly the same dimensions as the ones the manufacturer installed.Cons - The Keeper is slightly bigger than what the manufacturer installed. I had to drill new holes, but I thought the beefier keeper would be a good idea. I am not sure that this is a "con" since it might be a product upgrade.

These latches are used extensively in my motor home. I find these to be very effective but, like everything, occasionally one will wear out -- hence this purchase.

We just bought a used motorhome with a pull out dining room table. It was missing one of the latches underneath to lock it in when you extended it. I looked underneath and found it was a Southco latch so I bought this and it matched up perfectly. It now locks both ways. It already had one working latch to retract it but the one to extend it was missing the female part of the latch. I saved the male part in case that ever breaks but was glad to see that Amazon sold these. It is much cheaper than going to Winnebago for the part.

I got this to replace the one in my RV. It is exactly the same as what was in there, so hopefully this one will last better. Plastic doesn't seem to last very long where this is frequently accessed. But I hoping for it to work better.

I purchased this to replace the original equipment on my boat. This replacement had the same exact footprint as the original installed 15 years ago. Great product that keeps the small hatch doors tightly closed even in rough water.
