My truck is a 2021 GMC Sierra 1500, at4, 6.2 l. I've been using this device since Nov. 1, 2024 and it works as advertised. I'm a conservative driver and 'around town' before installation was ~16.5-17.5 mpg. After installation it is still ~16.0-17.5 mpg. Before installation a 100 mile hiway trip (75-80 mph) was 28.5 mpg. After installation the 100 mile hiway trip (75-80 mph) is 28.9 mpg. Same stretch of hiway and similar weather/road conditions. The longest I've let my truck sit without starting was 9 days with high temps of mid 50s F and lows of mid 30s F and had no trouble starting/driving it. I installed this to ease wear and tear on the engine, not in the hopes of better gas mileage. Quicker acceleration from any low speed to any high speed. Haven't timed it but there is no lag in acceleration from 0-80 or 30-90.

works in 2018 cadillac esv without issues. stays in V8 mode 100% of time, verified by instant mpg gauge. I had to pay $12000 for a new engine out of warranty because my lifters went out on both sides, within one month of each other. Having all new lifters and camshaft, I want to try to prevent this from happening ever again.. and it's either this or a $1000 AFM delete kit from briantooleyracing which i cannot afford. I wouldn't trust the cheap ones with my escalade, this company is reputable

This is an awesome product, should've purchased sooner. This eliminates the constant dropping cylinders and then coming back on line. My experience has been when this occurs at slower speeds (during heaving traffic stop & go) it feels and sounds like something is going to break in the engine. This product eliminates all of that. Very pleased. The engine I used it on is a 2019 6.2 liter.

Does exactly what it says! I have a 2021 trailboss with the 5.3 10 speed and it's like having a completely different truck. Shifts better and has way more power on demand. Disabled my start / stop. The light is still on but it doesn't turn my truck off anymore. Awesome product!

I had 2 Suburbans with the AFM Cylinder deactivation 5.3L. I traded them in because the fear of them going out without warranty.I trade them both in for a 2020 Cadillac Escalade 6.3L also with the AFM cylinder deactivation with CarMax and 150k warranty.I purchased this device to ensure my engine doesn’t go out by deactivating the system.Ever since I installed it my MPG increased by at least 4mpg (I kid you not), the engine runs way smoother, it doesn’t hesitate like it did before, and it has always stayed on 8 cyl.I have only used it for 2 months but so far it has performed flawlessly. Mine doesn’t lit all the LED lights but only at the very beginning and then I think it only keeps 1 on or so. (Haven’t paid much attention).I never take it off and it has not killed my battery or alike. It is installed on my daily driving car.

My 09 5.3L has been with me for 14 years. For the last 11 years my check engine light has been on “ P0523 oil pressure sensor/high input “ . I’ve replaced the switch & the wiring harness & it never fixed the problem. After 190,000 miles I had 2 lifters fail so I decided to put a remanufactured motor in. The shudder when it goes to 4 cylinder mode was more noticeable after the swap … so I decided to give this AFM disabler a shot. After all I’d already spent 8 grand on a motor- why not another couple hundred?….. anyways I’ve had it a week so far. Noticed the shudder was gone immediately. My battery didn’t die & on day 2 the check engine light went off. No more P0532 after 11 years! I’m happy with this lil device. Hopefully this one will last & was worth the extra money vs a cheap one. Hasn’t thrown any codes since.

Put this on my wife’s Yukon Denali with 6.2. Folks will wanna discredit my statement but I actually boosted my fuel mileage by almost a mile per gallon. Transmission shifts less and no hesitation. It will drain a battery over time if not driven. Especially with an older battery.

After spending $3500.00 repairing lifts on my GMC motor I purchased this product. It was simple to install and works like a charm to prevent motor from shifting to fuel management. I have been using this product for just over 1 year now and have not had any further problems with my motor. Everything is running smoother than ever. Highly recommend.

Does exactly what it needs to do, and I don't find that it drains the battery any noticeable amount even when parked for a while. I quite like the LEDs on it as well, not too bright but enough to remind you that it's working.

I have only had this installed for a couple days now. So far so good. What a huge difference. No more slobbering in V4. Stays in V8 as it should. I have noticed shifting is even better as it was shifting hard down into 2nd. A lot smoother now. I gave fuel mileage a 5 so far as I really don’t expect much change. I will update progress once I have been using it for a bit and really get a feel for it. So far worth the money!!Update: I’m still in love with it. It has not drained my battery at all as I leave it plugged at all times. Fuel mileage has gotten better as well. Don’t even second guess it if you are looking at getting one. I promise you won’t be disappointed2nd Update: have been almost using for a year to the day and still a great product from the day I bought it. Buy it!! You won’t regret I I promise you!!
