I needed a clamp type meter and this was was highly rated, came with a nice holder and was a good price. Overall I have been impressed with the quality of the unit. It’s knobs are well made and it is easy to use. I am very happy with my choice and would recommend it.

Probes are decent quality. Meter works well in my testing. Not a major battery hog. Non-contact clip has been useful for higher voltages. Case is handy.

This is a great meter. I like it more than the Klein I used to have. It has lots of great features and works well. I gave 4 stars because I got an open box, but then again, it is a good price.

I got this because I borrowed one to fix my dryer. It worked great, so I ended up buying my own. I use it here and there, for testing batteries or if things like my dryer breaks. It is simple to use, not a lot of settings, just the ones you need. It has a great build quality and has an easy to read display. I highly recommend this and Southwire products.

I use this every day. The price is comparable the what I can buy it at Lowe’s for. Southwire has proven their quality to me. As someone who swore by fluke multimeters I have changed my tune. I am sure as their quality is recognized by the electrical industry their price will most likely go up. For now I am thankful for a quality meter that the bulk of us can afford.Obviously there are many meters that are trade specific But for the average journeyman, apprentice, or even shade tree electrician it is a great buy. Southwire will continue to build their brand. Soon I expect them to up their prices to the level of fluke, fieldpiece, ideal, etc.invest now and save some coin. I use this on everything from hvacr to industrial motors, pumps, and general maintenance. Even loaned it to the electrical engineer when his wasn’t working.Read the spec’s so you get the model you need for your trade. And enjoy the savings.
