Worked once. On the second use after 20 min of vacuum filtering the plastic shelf broke or came apart and I lost all previous material I filtered. And now I can't return this item.

Great buchner at a great price! Super easy to clean unlike traditional buchners where you can't get to the bottom side of the filter holes. The comes apart, fits back together extremely well. Comes with plastic rings to support the filter plate. I only use 3 and it came with 6 so i can run it 2x and only wash the main body and plate. No plastic burrs like mentioned in the other review.

does what it says it does. just wish the interior diameter was clearly posted so you didn't have to buy their filter papers but hey... i get it as a business model.

The perforated plate was not drilled cleanly. There was a lot of debris attached to each hole. This is annoying, and would possibly result in plastic bits in the filtrate. The biggest problem with this filter is that it does not allow the filtered liquid to flow out. There are plastic baffles underneath the plate that retain more than a liter of liquid. I would strongly recommend against this product for an application where you are trying to retain the filtered liquid. It would probably be fine when you are trying to retain the precipitate.

The filter plate is two small and does not form a seal on the side of the Buchner funnel, allowing unfiltered liquid to pass through.

I got the 10"... ordering the 24" soon, had to fine tune it a little but it saves allot of time def. worth it.
