I'm on my second 4Runner now--wish I had known about this product when I still had my first one. We have a 4Runner and a RAV4 and live in the mountains. The RAV4 has always been way peppier going up and down the hills. The 4Runner has done well, but has always been a little more sluggish. No big deal. It's a truck after all.But I read about this contraption and installed one on my new 4Runner. Wow! What a difference. No apparent difference in gas mileage, but what a difference in performance! The 4Runner now drives more like the RAV4 in terms of acceleration/throttle response in the mountains. It's like a completely different vehicle.Super easy to install. The app works great, but isn't really necessary since the stock settings work well.At any rate, this thing is great and I highly recommend it, at least for 4Runners.

this is one item. I really don’t mind giving a review. It works better than what they describe in my opinion. Ease of installation is matter of minutes. Hardest thing is just laying on the floor of the vehicle. But I only necessary for a couple minutes. it’s nice to actually get a product that isn’t being deceptive or overestimating it. It is by far better than I expected, and I love this product, especially the antitheft the valet features and since I live in the mountains, I turn up the response on a pedal on that and I don’t have the vehicle hunting for gears. It just works flawless. I would buy this product again if I had another vehicle without hesitation. shut the antitheft, which actually only allows it to idle in the summer and I can leave my air conditioning running for my two dogs while I’m shopping. I don’t have to worry about somebody stealing the vehicle and my dogs love being able to go.

It works well,the ss mode makes the truck leap from a dead stop. Sport mode is more realistic. Havent done the APP yet. I notice a lot of people complaining about the modular plug on the gas pedal being annoyingly difficult to get off . dont torture yourself , twisting and contorting ramming ur head under the dash with little mirrors and dental tools and such. Just remove the gas pedal two its 10 mm bolts long socket then its a breeze.

Not really a fan of the P.M. or P.C. products. This one is smaller and easier to use and doesn't mess with the OBD port like the others. Highly recommend for 4runner.

I was skeptical, but it truly livens up your driving experience, removes all the pedal lag, and feels like it really should and is better! I recommend it for anyone who does not love the feel of your GX or any car.LOVE IT!

Before owning my 4Runner, I had a 2020 Camry with a similar, but slightly worse issue with throttle delay. For that vehicle, I bought a Pedal Commander which mostly helped, but it was far from perfect. The Shiftpower unit (at least for this vehicle) has remedied the problem completely, and the fueling is no longer laggy. With the throttle corrected it drives like a normal vehicle and feels less like a tank.So far I have found that 70% in dynamic mode is a good place to start, at least. The adjustability and the easy to use app make this product a breeze to set up. Installation was super easy, too. I’m beyond impressed!

So everyone who has a GX460 knows you don't buy a GX for its pepiness...lolWell, this thing woke it up... throttle response is amazing.. it does have some pep now.I have it on first setting and it's so much better.The functionality and different settings are great, valet and lock out mode are awesome.Was easy to install.Highly recommend

Returned. Didn’t work for my vehicle and said it did. Looks like they fixed the ad but FukinTuned works excellent if you want one that’s really user friendly
