I recently replaced the spark plugs and wires on my car. In 45 years of owning cars I've never use plug boot protectors. Since I installed new wires, I thought I would give these a try to see if they prevent the exhaust heat from baking the wire boots onto the plugs.I gave the product 4 stars because they seem well made with thick material for insulation. I didn't give 5 stars, because i don't yet know how much benefit they actually provide. Time will tell.

They do not go over the plug wires you have to stretch the metal ring in them then they don't like right afterwards

They will fit 90° boots, it’s very tricky however.The color appears to stay for now, however it’s noted an acceptable amount of the red viberancy is lost on install, probably from stretching out the material a little to work it on.Speaking of stretching the quality of the stitched side is a little subpar. The stitches had a minor amount of falling apart. So I would be careful when trying to fit on 90° boots.Lastly they have a hard ring in the non stiches side, I’d like to assume it’s metal, that greatly impedes the over all look. It forces them to be installed 1 way on 90° boots at least, with the stiched side pointing out. Is it a deal breaker, no, I’m not an overly cosmetics type of person, but it does suck not being able to hide the stiches side because after instal they became a little tathered and rough looking.

Too tight to fit over plugs. 2 star only because I like the look and might work for stock plugs

this product does not work replaced new wires and added this for protection and still burnt plug wires faster than you can if you didn't use them at all melted the plug wire boots inside the sleeve ruined 3 plug wires with in 6 miles
