Hey, It worked fine. Bought it because a while back I replaced plugs in my dodge mini van and after doing the job. I had a misfire on one cylinder. had to take the car apart to find I had a dead brand new plug. replaced the brand new plug with another and problem solved.Long story short I had to do plugs on another vehicle that has a 3.5 hour tear down time just to get to the plugs so I bought this to test them prior to fitting them. It worked great. Installed plugs No issues vehicke runs great. Cheap insurance. Time saver and frustration saver.

Great tool and has worked on every plug I’ve tried so far. It’s important to fully insert the spark plugs into the tool, other wise arcing will be present on the sides.

As the ad says, the short plugs don't work in this. But, with a little ingenuity you can create a snap-on adapter to clip onto the top of your short plugs to make it work. I had a can of lawn mower plugs that were questionable, and now I know exactly which ones are good. The spark is weak, but it's not designed to throw a lightning bolt to be seen out in bright daylight. Easily seen in the garage.

pros: it works on the spark plugs that i wanted to test.cons: not all spark plug fit where you can hear the click.You can easily see what plugs are bad and give no spark.

As most have said, the spark is somewhat difficult to see in the daylight. I don’t view that as an issue. Just flip the light switch.my issue is that the newer??? thinner plugs do not click in and lock into the device. The plug on the left is from my 06 F150. the fatter plug on the right is from my 98 F150.Yes i use the word newer with some sarcasm.the thinner plugs still shows some spark but it does not seat well in the device and i would be hesitant to blame the plug for negative results.

This spark plug tester can eliminate the spark plugs as the problem in an ignition repair project. You can see them working and move on to the next element in the system.

I use this at work it has made my job easier by taking the guess work out of it or it has saved me from having to swap plugs around to find misfires

Ich bin überrascht.Hätte nicht gedacht dass es so gut funktioniert.Man kann sehr gut Zündkerzen damit schnell prüfen.

Der merkwürdige Adapter für unsere Steckdosen sitzt lose auf den Pins und lockert sich , wodurch direkter Kontakt mit der Netzspannung möglich ist. Das macht alles einen dermaßen unsicheren Eindruck, dass ich das ganze gleich wieder zurückschicken musste. Eine Deutsche Anleitung fehlte auch.
