The Sparta 3ft aluminum/plastic broom handle is more substantial than I could have imagined. This is no "light household" work tool, and that's Great, if you need somethinglasting, not more "throw away" junk.Unfortunately, I learned it does not fit just "any" brand broom/mop. I needed it for a Libman replacement handle, and though the threading is 'standard' size, the shape at base , just above threading made it impossible to use for my Libman brand.That said, If You want something flexible enough to be used for a variety of jobs at home; perhaps also, durable enough for commercial use, I believe these products are a good value and may hold up quite well.Customize your tools to be interchangable only with Sparta accessories (on their Amazon Store), so ya don't have to find out the way I did 🙃

I hoped this might be a decent light-weight short handle for mopping but it's a lot sturdier than I expected. For the price, it's a very good value. Just remember it is not a fully broom handle length and you'll be happy.

Ugh, I really should have checked the measurement for this broom handle. I assumed they were a standard size and didn't question how long it was going to be. It appears to be sturdy, but definitely too short. Fits in the broom bristle piece, but hurts my back to use it.
