So far so good. As I got them to day and inspected them. While one of the first ones I pulled out 2 bags were connected and after pulling them apart one ended with a hole in it. I pulled a hand full of them out and checked them. So I count it as maybe a few in 1000.I most times buy the GPI 4mil thick bags and since 4mil is really just good for bones we will just use the 2 mil for with out bones.The bags have a much shorter opened end and while other reviews mention they are hard to get open. I do not think we will have a problem.I was going to get bags this time around with the white block on the to make writing on the bags easy yet they cost far more and is not worth the extra money. I may do some research and see if there is a better marker than sharpie that will work on poly bags. There has to be something that is far better?I have thought about using sticker yet they want around 15 dollars for yellow ones that say beef, pork, chicken. Yet none of them have fish or blank. I could see buying a pack of 1000 of each for 10 dollars. Not 500 for 15 dollars. Then I looked at some that have months and then was thinking about getting numbers for the year. Yet unclear if these stickers will stay on the bags when frozen. Some stickers tend to lose their stickyness when frozen.

Works great for my crocheted items. Belong to FB group called "Random Acts of Crochet Kindness' and put some of my crocheted items in these bags to distribute around town - various items such as worry worms, flowers, whales, kitties, etc. - we make these just to lift people's spirits - in today's world there is so much pressure on everything we can all use a little boost 9of happiness when finding a little "treasure'.

They are great value, i use them to store my medical cannabis. I have used different thickness before and i think i prefer the stronger 4mil one while nothing is wrong with the 2 mil.
