Decided to try my hand at car audio installation. Wanted to make a good clean install for my amps and wiring so i made a board and wanted it to have a clean look like sub boxes have. This stuff was easy to work with and got me my desired effect. Was a bit wrinkled from being folded for delivery, but i stretched it out and lightly misted with a water sprayer to smooth it and then stretched it on install. Used gorilla glue spray adhesive and a staple gun. Highly recommend for sub boxes etc

For the price you can’t beat it. Seems of good quality. Only down side is the creases won’t come out cause it comes folded and not in a roll like others.

This material is a good thick product. It will not stretch and is a slightly slower at sticking when glued. Its a nice dark charcoal color and seems high quality and is easy to cut.

Not the seller’s fault this would be the product manufacturers’s fault. The carpet is thin and the fabric glue leaked through to the front again. This is a default from the product manufacturer not the seller if you want quality product you better pay for it. A thicker carpet will not allow for as much to none of the glue to transfer from The bonding side to the front side. Spend the money and get a good product. There are some other manufacturers out there that include a pre-sticky peel side so you don’t have to use any glue, I would recommend that if you’re just starting out.

Fabric was short 2 inches on each side and had to use an old miss matched piece to finish my box. Comes in an 8†x 8†bag. Shipping folds do not come out easy. Fabric does not stretch almost at all. Why not just cut it at 42†x 42â€to account for shrinkage? If you don’t mind ironing your carpet, and need 38x38 I guess it’s ok.

Add said (black) carpet. It’s the same grey carpet that comes on every prefab sub box made.
